Affordable dependable dog care!!!
Pet care experience
I live in a condo with my husband who also loves dogs, but we both prefer to get a big dog, which means waiting until we move to a house since big dogs are not permitted in our building. In the meantime, I hope to get my dog fix doing dog sitting or boarding at an affordable price. I used to travel a lot when I had a dog and realize how expensive it can get to board a dog when going out of town or on vacation so I want to alleviate the expense for you.

Thanks Abby! Barney had wonderful vacation :)
Short version: Would ask to board again, very good. It was my first time leaving my Shiba with someone unfamiliar and I was very nervous. As I dropped her off Abby and her place was accommodating to her needs. Abby not only responded quickly she also sent me unrequested but much appperciated updates to ease my mind and ensure she was in good hands.
Abby was great with our dog. We were very nervous because our dog is not that easy to look after. Abby made us feel worry-less during our trip away. She sent constant updates and our dog was very comfortable with her. We could see that she went beyond her duties and really took care of our fur baby. Thank you Abby. You were absolutely incredible.
Had a great experience with Abby no complaints

Information Abby D. would like to know about your pet
I’d like to know if they have separation anxiety (or any other anxiety issues), any allergies or health issues that I should be aware of. It's helpful to know their overall energy level - high, moderate, or low energy so that I know what to expect; any destructive behaviour; if they are potty trained; and how they behave around other dogs and kids. And of course, because I want them to be happy and possibly spoil them, I'd like to know what their favourite things are to do or receive, whether it be belly rubs, long walks, treats, sleeping.
A typical day
There’s a pedestrian trail very close to our building that leads to a beautiful duck pond 15 minutes away by foot, as well as some walking trails that go even further than that, which I can walk your dog to. Also, the park and grass field across the street is a great place for me to bring your dog to go potty. I can play fetch with your dog if he/she likes to play or I can take him/her to the dog park if he/she likes to play with other dogs! I can use dog treats to get your dog to do tricks if he/she needs his brain stimulated.

I work Monday to Friday from either 9-5 or 10am-6pm, but work only a 5 min drive away. My husband normally takes 1-2 weekdays off every week, in which he will be at home with your dog while I'm at work. He sometimes gets home from work before me, depending on the season (whether it's busy season at his restaurant). So if you're looking to board your dog with us during the week, in addition to weekends, your dog must be capable of being left alone for up to 8-8.5 hours on 3-4 days of the week. When there’s a dog around I literally place all my attention on the dog! The condo I live in is very spacious and has a dog park and large grass field right across the street. I am okay with both lazy and active dogs, as it’s nice to have variety to be honest. If a dog likes to play then I’ll play and if a dog prefers to just lay on the couch and cuddle most of the time, I’m okay with that too! Dogs have good intuition and almost immediately like and trust me, an energy I seem to give off with humans also. I think I’m a great choice as a dog sitter not only because I can be trusted to take good care of your dog, but will give your dog lots of loving attention!
