Pet care experience
I have two dogs of my own, one 7 years old and the other just about 5 years! I recently adopted my first cat, Mimi, a little over 6 months ago. She is my little cow looking cat that I adore dearly. I have been an animal lover since day 1, and love spending my time with animals of all kind. I have taken care of a wide range of dogs, as well as all levels of friendly cats/kittens. I have been relied on for not only the care of these animals, but as well as the physical exercise they can get.

Abby has been walking our dogs for a long time. She just loves any dog, and they can't wait to see her when she arrives. We have two small dogs that tend to be a bit barky when they are around other dogs, so Abby has been able to manage any situation that they have thrown at her.
Abby is an extremely reliable, passionate, and dedicated individual. She grew up with dogs in her home and has always shown strong commitment in raising her pets. She’s active, loving, and extremely professional as well. I would trust her with my two huskies and border coli any day.

I know how frustrating it can be to take care of some pets that might be on the more restless side or a little harder to keep calm. In a clients home, I would ensure that if any animal needed to be crated or given extra love before I would leave, I would ensure that the animal is happy and calm before I would exit. I make sure that any pet I take care of is fed, walked, hydrated, and happy before I finish the service.

Ahead of time, I like to be aware of the dogs habits when it comes to exercise, as well if they have any limitations when it comes to being active and outside. I as well like to be notified if the pet has anxiety with other animals, and if I should be alert if they do.
A typical day
Depending on the location of the client, I will look for walking locations prior to arriving. Whether that’s looping in miles close by to the property, or driving to a more secure and closed in park that gives the pet and I space to move. Completely dependent on the client and the needs of their animal.
