It is helpful to know any special care needs, their typical schedule (how much they like to stick to it), and their behavior or personality. I like to know what kind of walker the dog is and how they get along with other people and animals. It is also really helpful to know if you have left your pet alone before and if so how they handled it. I have had a negative boarding experience with a dog who had separation anxiety and it was not pleasant for the dog, me, or my roommates. I also like to know how a pet reacts to other pets, men and groups of people, either in the house or outside.

I love going on walks, throwing toys around and hanging out with pets. I like just sitting around the house to keep your dog company or I like taking them on walks around the neighborhood or to parks or with me to get a fun treat. I do like to make owners who choose to board aware that I live in a house with 7 other roommates and no fenced-in backyard. My roommates all love animals so your pet will get lots of attention if they want it or their personal space with be respected if they don’t! One of my roommates does have a cat but can easily be kept in her room during a stay.
