Pet care experience
I was lucky to grow up caring for 2 wonderful dogs (a golden and a pomeranian), rabbits, squirrels, sea stars, frogs, and bearded dragons. Alongside my own pets, I volunteered for animal care at the CT Audubon Society at a young age, caring for everything from turtles to rabbits to hawks! In my adulthood, since I can't yet have a dog, I moved on to fostering cats. I've seen it all in the pet world, so caring for your furry (or scaly or feathered) friend is well within my wheelhouse!

Abbie is superb. She has taken care of my two dogs and my cat and I trust her implicitly. As a vet I see the benefits of having someone you trust, and can have open communication with, taking care of your animals. I highly reccomend Abbie!!
Abbie is a phenomenal pet sitter - I am completely blown away by her service. Abbie is consistent, courteous, and kind. Not to mention great under pressure! One of my cats unfortunately had to have her teeth removed and is extremely medication averse; however, Abbie easily wrangled my little Phoebe and kept her comfortable and healthy while I was at work. I could rave about Abbie until the cows come home, but long story short - she’s great in every way and can handle anything: dogs, cats, rabbits, fish, gerbils, you name it. She can even check on your husband whenever he’s in the doghouse 😂
Abbie is caring and loving, especially when it comes to animals. She took care of our family dog while we were away for all his life and always made sure that he was loved, heathy, and happy.

I work from home 4 out of the 5 days of the week and have a very flexible schedule, so I'd love to be able to help you with a mid-day check-in for your pet. I'm also happy to provide care after work when needed!
