I am a lifelong dog lover with extensive experience, new to Rover! Having had dogs since the age of eight, I have experience walking and looking after dogs of all sizes and ages, but especially have experience in large dogs as I walked our giant breed Old English Sheepdog daily for two years. I frequently dogsit and walk him now when my family go away. He was a very large and demanding puppy so I have experience with that, and prior to this I looked after our senior dog. Additionally I am a big cat lover. I have looked after relatives’ cats and have been doing drop ins for cats through Rover. I live in the city centre and also drive, happy to take bookings anywhere within a reasonable distance!

Abbie was so good with little Erik. Erik took a shine quite quickly to her. She was prompt and on time and everything was so tidy when we got back. We enjoyed her messages each day she looked after him too. Would highly recommend her ☺️
Abbie is incredibly attentive and caring with our large dog, who we often don’t feel we can trust to be left with many people but we can always rely on Abbie. She shows him so much love and affection and is diligent in making sure his needs are met.

Due to living in a rented flat with a no pets policy I am unable to take any dogs in at my home, but I am more than happy to drop in or dog sit at yours, as well as walk in your area or drive to somewhere more scenic or better suited.

A typical day
Happy to accommodate any requests that you have for your dog (e.g. particular games they like to play) to ensure they are properly exercised and mentally stimulated. For example, my current family dog absolutely loves fetch, but our old family dog didn’t respond to it. I understand every dog is different and has different needs and wants!

Availability
For drop ins and walks, primarily my availability is in the morning before 9am, lunch time and in the evening, but I work from home so can be quite flexible. Please just message with any enquiries as I will always try to accommodate whatever you’d like. For dogsitting in your home I have varying weekend availability and I’m happy to do overnight or for a specified period throughout the day, and can also do weekdays if I can work from your home.
