Pet care experience
I have had dogs of my own for 13 years, and have been around barns and animals since the age of 9. I have horse/dog/cat/chicken sat for at least 16 years. I have vet assistant experience and am comfortable administering medications and handling wounds/surgical sites as well as daily, routine care. I currently have 2 dogs of my own - Chase (13) and Moxie (5).

Excellent accommodations and very friendly.
My wife and I were extremely impressed the first time we met Abbie, when we dropped off Cali, for her first couple day stay. Abbie greeted us with a big smile, showed us where Cali will be staying and answered all our questions. Abbie is very knowledgeable and has a big heart for dogs and their care. Abbie watched our two pups for a night while we were visiting the area. She was very responsive, nice, and has a great set up for boarding dogs. They seemed to feel comfortable and came home exhausted - yay! Thank you Abbie!

A typical day
I tailor my days to what my (or your!) dogs need. My older guy enjoys a little game of snuffle in the grass, maybe a stuffed Kong, and a lazy walk in our woods before napping in the sunshine. My young one enjoys a good hike or jog down the road and taking in the sights and sounds of the neighborhood wildlife. And who doesn't love a cuddle on the couch while watching Netflix after a long day? I can interact with your dog how you best see fit!

Per care is my full time job. I am available for feeding, check ins, walks, and bathing/nail care almost daily depending upon my and your schedule.
