Pet care experience
From helping owners accomplish potty-training their pups, to quality senior care; From administering daily medications, to changing pups diapers & bandages.. I have been compassionately caring for dogs & cats of all sizes, ages, breeds and accommodations for the past 8 years and have loved every second of it :) I am very passionate, acclimated, and reliable when it comes to any request, care, or need your 4-legged best friend(s) may require! :) As a certified EMT, I also work very well under pressure or in a high stress environment, assuring you that your pup is in the best of hands not only in general, but if any emergency were to arise as well! I am a "fur momma" to 1 beautiful red heeler pup & 4 adventurous cats, so no task or gig is too big for me to handle. I am the biggest animal lover you will ever met with a professional background working in doggy day cares/boarding facilities. I can assure you that while under my care and supervision.. your animal(s) will be loved and cared for as if they were my own! Being a pet owner myself, I understand how stressful it can be on an owner to be away from your 4-legged companion, and am not naive to the stress your fur-baby may face while you're away as well. My goal and main purpose as a pet sitter is to lessen the worry for both the owners & their pets by providing quality pet care, exercise, enrichment & loving affection to your animal while you are away. Getting to hang out with the cutest animals in the world is just a bonus! :) My care always comes with a complimentary daily photo update, and 24/7 open communication at all times to reassure both you and sweet pet(s) that there is nothing to worry about.. other than your pet gaining another life-long friend! :)

Abbie was AMAZING! It was my first time using Rover services and was nervous about leaving for a week, but Abbie gave me peace of mind! She was super communicative and was flexible when plans changed. The reports after services were very detailed and I knew without a doubt my pets were being well cared for. I loved all the pictures while we were away. I will definitely be rebooking!
Abbie has watched our elderly dog Leroy many times. Leroy is normally anxious when we aren’t home, but he felt very comfortable with Abbie. I could tell she was giving him a lot of love, because he didn’t seem to care we left! Abbie was fantastic with our old dog! I would definitely use her again.
Abbie is honestly the best with all animals. She’s cared for my dogs for years now and we’re always at ease knowing they are with her!
Abbie watched my cats while I was on a cruise for a week. She already knew them well but she did an amazing job caring for them. She kept me updated and shared pictures as often as she could. One of my cats has a significant history of illness and she went out of her way to make sure she followed all the steps to give her the medicine she needed, even if it I was being a bit overbearing. She left a detailed note with information regarding the cats, how the house was, and kept the house cleaned up and organized. She really takes care of more than just your pets but your entire home.

Due to the amount of animals I already have in my small home, I only offer boarding services that allow me to stay at the clients home while they are away. I have been a pet sitter for the past 8 years, and have always found that pets are most comfortable in their own surroundings while their owners are away. I am very reliable, tidy, trustworthy and understand the responsibility that comes with being welcomed into another's home. It is a guarantee that if I watch your pup at your home, it will be just as clean (if not cleaner) than the way you left it :)

If your pup requires any special medication/accommodations or you have any special request as the owner, please reach out to me anytime prior to the date of your booking so that we can touch base and I can make sure i have any/all pertinent details needed for me to be able to best accommodate to your dogs needs! I like to make sure I have a thorough understanding the responsibilities you require of me prior to you leaving your pup in my care! <3
A typical day
I love to keep my 4-legged clients busy if the are feeling up for it by going on walks around the neighborhood, playing feather/tug-o-war, and helping them find the best of new sniffs in their neighborhood! I also love to do mental enrichment with the pups i care for as well... this includes (to name a few) treat puzzles, treat "hide & seek", and making sure they are staying up to par with any tricks they may have in their "trick-4-treat bank" :) I also find that most pups i care for LIVE for a "brush out session" on the porch (with consent from the owner of course) and extra scratches/love on the extra cold rainy days! (& the sunny ones too ?)

I am currently not working, so I am free anytime and any day of the week to walk, play with, feed, or stay with your pup while you are away!
