Hi I’m Abbie, I live with my little best friend Floyd, he’s a 1.5 yr old shih tzu. I will be offering dog walking, sitting, daycare and drop in visits. I do also accept cats. As a child I grew up with my best friend being my mams Staffy he was amazing. After he died it was mainly family pets I was around but this ranged from shih tzus and border collies to Alaskan malamutes, until 2009 I got my first dog. She was also an imperial but unlike Floyd was not friendly at all and was quite vicious so o have experience with dogs who aren’t the friendliest, but I still adored her and she passed a few years ago. Growing up I have been and many dogs and have loads of experience handling and walking these dogs, some have been strong and try pulling my arm off and others walk off their lead to my every command. I am aware all dogs have their own personality’s and I cannot wait to get to know the personalities I will meet during this. I have previously been bitten by a beagle whilst I volunteered at a local doggy daycare it was also whilst on my first day, this did nothing to my confidence if anything made me more confident around dogs and I also managed to befriend the dog that bit me. I walk all over with Floyd as it is so I feel like dog walking would suit me perfectly my 2 favourite things and starting my career as in the future I would love to do this as my own business.
