Pet care experience
Hi! I am a young professional in Winooski who loves dogs! I myself had a standard poodle growing up so have plenty of experience with walking and caring for dogs. I love long walks, especially around green areas and dog parks. If your dog likes to run I am your gal! Having walked my dog every day and cares for dogs in the past I have the necessary experience to walk and care for your pup. I am all about contact, I am reliable with my phone, and will be in contact when necessary. I will do my best to tire out your pup on walks or runs as well as provide the most comfortable care while house hosting.

Abbie is absolutely fantastic with dogs! She is such a caring person and you can trust your pup is in good hands. She gets along fantastically with my two large black labs and doesn’t bat an eye when they get rambunctious. She’s incredibly organized, responsible, punctual, and a joy to work with.
Abbie is a very warm, patient, and energetic person. She has cared for my dog in the past, and I know she has had pets of her own (a very well behaved large standard poodle). Abbie is very responsible and has great judgement -- really trustworthy! She is an excellent pet sitter! 10/10 would recommend
Abbie loves dogs, is responsible, punctual and fun to be around — for both dogs and people. She walked my standard poodle for many years (in all types of weather) and helped care for him when his health declined. Long walks are her specialty but she has tailored walks for my friends dogs to meet their needs. Highly recommended!

I have a back garden with no fence, I live near multiple walking paths and have access to a gated in dog park. I’m my house I keep all food/ edible (to dog) items in high places.

I have no breed preference, I enjoy walking all dogs shapes and sizes. Before going on a walk I like to know dog habits while walking, for example, if they don't get along with other dogs, or if they are comfortable being off a leash.I like to know if they are recall trained or have the tendency to bolt.
A typical day
I like to walk along the bike path to the dog park and throw the ball (if your pup likes to fetch). If your dog likes to swim I enjoy playing by the dog beach in Burlington.

Availability
I currently work 4 days a week. I would be available for an early morning walk or an evening walk. I am free on weekends. I am also available to house host a pup as long as they are ok a few hours alone.
