Hello! My name is Abbie. I graduated from UNC Chapel Hill this year and moved to Norfolk in July to work as a nurse at Sentara Heart Hospital. My schedule doesn't allow for me to get my own dog at this time, but I love dogs! So I am signing up for Rover. Dogs need tons of love and attention and I would love to help you accomplish that while you are at work or on a trip! My experience with animals includes growing up with a huge lab mix and pet-sitting for my neighbors all the time. I also frequently pet-sit for my sister's golden retriever. I am comfortable with different breeds and sizes and I think my calm demeanor makes me a good fit for many types of dogs. What sets me apart is that I love to give lots of belly rubs, I'll take fun pics and videos of your doggo to send or save for you while you are away, and I enjoy outdoor activity, so your animal will have lots of time outside. I love to run, so depending on your dog's preferred activity level, I'd love to run with them! I previously worked in in-home care while I was in nursing school, so I have experience working inside homes that belong to someone else. I will be very respectful of your space and privacy, and I can provide as much communication as you need!
