Pet care experience
Growing up on dairy and horse farms gave me the experience and the responsibility to know how to safely care and enrich numerous animals' lives. I was an active participant in 4H showing both dogs and horses. As an adult, I've had cats and dogs. I currently have 1 older small female dog and a 1 y/o male black lab. There are also two other small neutered mid-age dogs that join me part-time. I also own 3 horses and 1 cat. I have been a pet foster home for various area nonprofits as I believe animals are a part of our family and deserve safe homes too while their people stabilize.

Abbie was great ! She was super friendly, kind, you can tell she’s passionate about animals !! She updated me on how my dog was doing. She was great at communication ! She also met me to pick up my dog and drop him off to me since we were from out of town ! Highly highly recommended her !!
Abbie was wonderful! Not only was she kind and easy to work with, but she also took the time to come over beforehand to meet me and my cat. She was very conscientious about my cat’s care. I will absolutely hire her again.

Abbie was fantastic. When we dropped Bo off my daughter cried and Abbie reassured her he was in good hands and boy was he! She kept us updated on their daily activities at the end of the day with pictures and a quick run down of the day. I could go on but to sum it up, she went above and beyond in every aspect. We highly recommend Abbie!

I have 20 acres and few neighbors in the woods. I currently do not have a fenced yard and unsure if I'll put one up. I can do tie outs if there is concern about your dog off leash. We take daily hikes around the property and quiet dirt roads. I would provide the same care and exercise, along with any owner requests, to all animals I board in my home.

A typical day
Depending on what your dog likes to do and their activity level, we would take a walk or on/off leash hike. If they're good off-leash, they could join me as I exercise my horses and enjoy some trail rides.

Having 2 dogs and 1 cat of my own, I understand the care that animals need every day. While I do work in Helena 2 days/week, I make time for exercise, and mid-day breaks if needed, for animals in my care. My dogs have access to 20 acres. I believe that animals are most comfortable in their own homes and personally have used house sitters for my animals. I will respect your private space while providing your pet the love and care they need while you are away.
