I am a student at Coastal Carolina currently and have my one dog with me. I am an interdisciplinary studies major with my program titled “Animal Rescue Sciences”. Classes determine my schedule and may cause my hours to not be ideal but most of my classes are flexible. (But they will change every semester unfortunately.) I volunteer at 2 rescues back home (one of which for over 4 years and 500+ hours) and also volunteer at a rescue here in SC. I have been dog sitting for over 5 years just for fun. I am a huge animal lover and have never met a dog I don’t love (and that doesn’t love me, even the terrified, “aggressive” shelter dogs I have worked with). I am very flexible with my schedule outside of class and if you are not comfortable with someone staying in your home, I will make late night trips to your house to check on your dog(s) and other pets. I have also helped out in a veterinary clinic for a few weeks and am experienced with dogs of all ages, sizes, breeds, and medical conditions. I also have experience with cats and other animals (rabbits, fish, frogs, turtles, mice, etc.) if they need to be cared for as well. I even have experience working with farm animals.
