Pet care experience
I got my first dog (a very handsome Goldador) when I was 10 and have grown up with dogs. As well as our own dog, Pacey (a rescue Border Collie x Golden Retriever) we also ‘share custody’ of my in-laws’ Lab Retriever, Oli. I regularly look after our family dogs, which range from a Frenchie to Shitzu to Labradoodle. I’ve got experience with dogs of all sizes and had dogs from a pup so I’m capable with training too. I understand how hard it can be finding trustworthy sitters who treat your dog like their own, but that is definitely what we will do. I’m happy to continue any training needs your dog may have and have experience with dogs of all ages. I am very outdoorsy so love going on walks - my favourite local spot is Nescliffe Hill, but we also love an afternoon on the Long Mynd.

Abbi was so accommodating and obviously a real dog lover, so it made it easy to leave Leila in her safe hands. She was very easy to communicate with, both before and during the booking. Leila has come home very tired after obviously being very well looked after and cared for. Thank you so much Abbi!
Buddy loved his stay with Abbi. He had lots of fun and we received some photo's showing him getting along with the other 2 dogs. Thanks Abbi.
Our 4 month old puppy had the best stay with Abbi! She was so communicative and helpful and we had no worries about leaving Loretta with her in her lovely home. Would definitely recommend her as a sitter!

I have a fenced garden for playing, and some nice spots locally to our home for walks, but will also be taking them out in the car (provided you are comfortable with this) for longer walks. As mentioned above, we don’t have any other dogs living with us full time but have access to our in laws’ dogs so plenty of opportunity for socialising if your dog would benefit from this. If you would prefer me to look after your dog(s) in your own home then I am absolutely happy to do this and continue with the routine your dog is used to.

If your dog has additional needs, is nervous or high-energy etc then let me know in advance and I can account for this! We don’t have crate in the house but are happy to accommodate if your dog is crate trained and you’re able to provide your dog’s crate on drop off.
A typical day
I love long walks and have lots of favourite local spots, including Nescliffe Hill and Lyth Hill. I’m also a runner so if your dog is high energy I’d be happy to take them on a run with me. I regularly make stimulation snacks for our ‘shared’ dogs so like to have these on hand (think an almost-finished yoghurt pot with added dry food and popped in the freezer for a few hours, normally takes our boys at least 30 minutes to finish up!)

I work full time but in a hybrid role so can be available during the week in some instances, but primarily I am available for weekend boarding or house sitting. Happy for you to pop a message to me about dates outside of my weekend availability.
