Pet care experience
I've had all different types of pets growing up including cats, dogs, parrots, chickens, hamsters, lizards, fish, and turtles. :) I love animals! I studied biology for my BS and MS. I am working full time, but I really miss living with a dog. I currently live with 3 cats and a hamster, though, I have much more room in my heart for other furry friends! I house sat and walked a family's dog while I was in college, I walk and care for my parents' current dog when I visit, and have helped my pet-owner friends when they are out of town and need a hand. My own cat is 15 and special needs, I pill him every night. I love hearing all the intricate details about your pet and the level of care you expect for them, so don't be shy to give me a thorough run down.

Abbey is the best! She has sat Kitty multiple times and has always been great. She's a very good communicator and takes lots of photos. Best of all, we think our gruff, old man cat actually likes her!
Abbey is a fantastic cat sitter! She was timely and always made sure to play with our kitties. One of our cats happened to be sick as well, and Abbey was great about giving him all his medicines and eye drops.
This was the first time we worked with Abbey, but she was legit great. She's an an awesome communicator, reliable, and trustworthy. We were in and out of cell service this last trip, but any time we received an update from her check-ins, they really made our day. It's nice to know that Kitty has someone solid keeping him company while we're away.
Abbey has watched my cat Nemo on numerous occasions, and I have been very happy with her ability to care for my baby each time. She is extremely loving and caring towards him and all animals, and you can tell she really enjoys this line of work. She is direct, communicative, and willing to learn, and I'd highly recommend her to anyone looking for animal care!

I'd love to know how they do with strangers, children, other dogs, and busy environments. Anything that can help me protect your doggy's peace of mind and make it a 100% enjoyable experience for everyone.
A typical day
I frequent Frick Park and Schenley Park for long walks, sometimes over an hour long. I love hiking in general and exploring various neighborhoods around Squirrelhill. I walk at least every other day on my own, so why not add a dog to the mix??

Availability
Weekdays I am typically free after 4 PM. Weekends are more flexible. Potentially could see pets before 9 am on weekdays. I'm looking for an excuse to snuggle on a couple extra fur babies during my week.
