I’ve had dogs as family pets for over 30 years. I’ve been taking care of others’ dogs for 4 years now and love it! Some are colleagues, family friends, neighbours and school parents.

It’s important for me to know about any anxiety or things the dogs don’t like, for example, cars, fireworks etc. it’s also important for me to understand if the dog has an established routine like breakfast or other meals as well as a bedtime routine.
A typical day
I will walk the dogs every day. The walks are a variety of fields, parks and woodland. I will play at home with toys or balls. On warmer days, I have a paddling pool and sprinkler.

Availability
I currently work from home so am free most days and most nights. I include the dog in my family’s routine and we love going out for walks.
