Pet care experience
I was a regular dog sitter for 4 different families and had 3 regular dog walking jobs over the years (in addition to dog/house sitting). I also had 2 lovely Labrador ladies of my own that I primarily cared for during their glorious 13 years of life. I love dogs of all shapes and sizes and breeds! I have cared for dogs of all ages, from 3 week old puppies to oldies.

Let Abbey spend time with your pup!! You will not regret it. Ever since Abbey was a tiny tot, she has loved animals. She has always given animals (no matter what kind) love, care, and respect. Every time she takes care of my cat, I can tell what a great job she did because he acts as though he’s upset that I’m home. She absolutely ADORES dogs, though. She recently moved to DC and is missing her family’s dogs, so she would love to treat yours like royalty instead!
Abbey has watched my dogs frequently over the years, including when I first got my new puppy. She provided excellent care and loved sending me photos/videos of them playing or resting. She is very attentive and so loving towards them - I would trust her with all my future pets!!
Abbey is an extremely trustworthy and caring person. I have trusted her various times with my own dogs and she has repeatedly done precisely what I have asked and more when it comes to taking care of them. Additionally, she is always loving, playful, and attentive to them.

There is a huge empty lot next to my home which is frequently used by dog owners, as well as a dog park just around the corner and several other community parks close by. Rock Creek Park and Meridian Hill park are both within walking distance as well. I also have 3 dog-loving roommates who would love to have their days brightened by a furry friend!

Availability
I am about to start a full-time job in the next few weeks, but am completely available in the meantime. After that, I will be totally available on weekends and some weeknights. I’m flexible for drop-ins or to pick up where help is needed, but would ideally love to find a long-term schedule with a few good boys and gals!
