Pet care experience
I’ve always had dogs in my life, from my very first Beagle to the two Dachshunds that I grew up with. I am comfortable and have experience with both large and small dogs. I also currently have a cat who I adore! I would LOVE to get to hang out with and love on your pets in my spare time! Safety and comfort are definitely my priorities! I understand dog body language very well and can appropriately handle situations where a dog is feeling frightened or threatened. I know how to earn your dog’s trust, and I hope to get the chance to build a relationship with your pet!

I’ve known Abbey her whole life, and she has been a dog lover since birth. Small or big, short hair or long, she cannot pass a dog without saying hello. She is responsible, caring, and attentive. I am confident your pet will be in great hands with her.
The first time Abbey worked for me she pet sat for my two wirehaired pointing griffons, two very mischievous and energetic guys, but she handled them perfectly. She kept them well exercised, intellectually stimulated, and happy. When I came back home they were sad to see her go. Since then, I have been using Abbey as my primary dog care provider, usually when I knew I was going to be having a busy day and the dogs needed some exercise and stimulation. I wouldn't be taking the time to write this for Abbey if I didn't believe that you would be lucky to have such a sweet and caring young woman looking after your dogs, she really loves them.
Abbey is a great pet sitter - especially for cats and dogs! She is extremely responsible, pays great attention to detail, and treats every pet as if it were her own.
Abbey loves animals! In fact, if she were to show you photos of our family, she might show you photos of Wesley (our cat) before she showed you a photo of me (her dad). If you’d like your pet to be well loved, well cared for, cuddled, combed, gushed over, walked, or run, I have no doubt, Abbey will do a great job.

I take safety very seriously. On walks, I will always be paying attention to your dog and the surrounding environment to make sure that they are safe. For home visits, I will remain equally diligent, paying close attention to their toys, eating, and drinking as necessary.

A typical day
I love going for walks and letting dogs sniff things along the way! I'll adjust to your pets energy levels, whether they prefer a high speed game of fetch or just a belly rub.
