I grew up with dogs all around, and of all sizes! I have worked professionally and freelance not only for other walking apps, but side walking as well. I can accomadate alot of pet disabilities, and have worked with both daily medication and surgical supplements. I am familiar with all the kinds of harneses, leaders, and leashes, so your dog's comfort is also very important. I will never agree to a walk unless I absolute availability for the scheduled time, and make sure your friends are tuckered out and taken care of during their walks! Active dogs are hapoy dogs, and I have yet to have a client (dog) that I do not get along with! I'm also open to develop a reoccuring schedule if that is on the table.

Abbey was wonderful in taking care of Acadia at her home while I was on vacation. Acadia happened to go into heat shortly before hand and Abbey gave Acadia the extra care needed. I'm super grateful! I can tell my pup was well loved while I was away.
My two young puppies absolutely loved her!
Abbey was great with our older dog! She communicated quickly and effectively. We would book her again.
Abby stayed in our home and took wonderful care of our blind, elderly Cairn Terrier over the weekend. She thoughtfully sent pictures and updates so I knew he was in good hands. We will thankfully ask her to care for our dog again.

Animals were a huge part of the household growing up, so I'm comfortable around most. I understand the work behind taking care of a dog, as well. I .found its a balance of food and snuggles. I appreciate the situation from the point of view of the owner, so I simply treat their home as I would want someone to treat mine.

I really like to know the details of any special needs or medications prior to meeting a new puppy. Also, i like to know how they act during walks, seeing/interacting with other dogs, toys/possessions, eating habits, and play preferences:) (if you can )
A typical day
Aside from the run of the mill playing and exercise, I try to really get to know your fur baby. I definitely observe their mannerisms and play preference right off the bat so I can easily meet them at their preferred comfort level. One thing I think is also very important is paying attention to communication cues from animals. Clearly they can't talk, so they have adapted other ways of communication, we should listen to them!
