Pet care experience
Energetic young woman who, after 17 years of hoping to become a veterinarian, is studying to become a Physician Assistant. Of course I am dedicated and responsible, but that's only half the battle! What is far more important to note is that I am an absolute animal lover. I am originally from Seattle and have had 5 Golden Retrievers throughout my life - one who went to college with me and is my best friend in the whole wide world. Rest assured I will treat your pup (or kitty!) as my own. I am active and love to be outdoors, but it's so much better when a furry friend (or two, or three) tag along :) I completely understand how busy and hectic life can get, and you never want your animal to be bored. Contact me to plan your pet's *best day ever*!
Reviews
Absolutely amazing! If you have the opportunity to book Abbey please do! The dogs fell in love with her and were so happy. She’s so responsive and responsible, and I will totally use her again.
Abbey took perfect care of Beanie and sent lots of pictures!
We always feel better when Abbey is taking care of Duchess!
Abbey was great! Very communicative, even to the point of letting me know how Poppy was doing mid-walk-in-the-rain.

Safety, trust & environment
I have access to many parks within walking distance, as well as a fenced deck (concrete) and large wire crate (with a divider to accommodate different size animals). If at your own home, I promise to be respectful of your space, uphold whatever level of communication makes you feel comfortable, and follow all necessary instructions. This service is meant to relieve stress, not add more!

Information Abbey B. would like to know about your pet
Please let me know if your dog has any special needs, allergies, mobility issues, triggers, fears, or if there is anything else I should be aware of. I want to be sure your animal is as comfortable as possible while they are in my care.
A typical day
My favorite place to walk my own dog is by the water. It allows for so many sensory experiences and space to tire out even the most energetic pup. With so many smells, places to play, and trails to run/walk, it's always a fun time. There is also a dog park nearby that promotes socialization and lots of fun smells. If you would prefer to keep your dog away from public parks and trails, Old Town has a wonderful sidewalk loop that will not only give your dog an exercise opportunity, but will also naturally file their nails so you don't have to pay for expensive trimmers or bring them to the vet. I can run, walk, or a mixture of both, depending on your pup's joint mobility and preferences. If you have a place you'd prefer I bring your furry friend, please let me know!

As of now, I am available all day, nearly every day, as I work mostly remote. Please note that my calendar might change if I am working more in person!
