Pet care experience
I have worked with children for the last 15 years and had personal dogs for the last 30 years. I specialize in small to medium size dogs with separation anxiety but have experience with dobermans as well. I believe that predictability and consistency is important for the emotional health of our furry friends. I am also an insured pet sitter.
Reviews
Abbey was great with our anxious boy. He had a wonderful time hanging with her pup. She sent us adorable pics of Bandit throughout the stay so I knew everything was going well. I will 100% rebook with Abbey.
Carl had a great time with Abbey and Luna! Abbey sent lots of updates while Carl was with her, which I appreciated, and she took the dogs on lots of fun activities. I would definitely recommend Abbey to anyone looking for a dog sitter in the Boston area!
Abbey is an excellent care giver. She is very responsible and I can tell she looks out for the safety and well being of my dog. She is also a great communicator. I would highly recommend Abbey!
Can’t say enough great things about Abby. From the first point of contact she’s been professional in every aspect you would want in someone who’s taking care of our 4 legged family member. Communication is so important in feeling our teddy was taken care of and Abby was on point and made us feel he was well taken care of.

Safety, trust & environment
We live on the first floor of an apartment with two dog parks within a short walk. I have a 30 pound female mixed pup. She is chill and enjoys playing with visiting dogs but will give them space if needed. We also have a gate for two different rooms in case your dog prefers some alone time on the couch or the bed. We go on walks multiple times a day and pee breaks every 2-4 hours. Walks can be solo or with my personal dog if you are hoping for socialization.

Information Abbey B. would like to know about your pet
Please let me know if any separation anxiety, or behaviors that might affect your pet’s stay with us. We are happy to accommodate your pet and will do everything we can to make them comfortable, engaged, and happy while you can’t be there. If your dog has a special routine or activities they prefer, let us know and Luna and I will be happy to accommodate.
A typical day
We typically take two-3 walks per day. We start each morning with a walk to the dog park (as long as all dogs are cool with that). During the day we do food puzzles, snuggle, and take an early afternoon walk. On sunny afternoons we might go to a special park to walk or play. In the warmer weather we take weekend rides to dog parks like Cat’s rock or Stodder’s Neck. We have two dog parks within walking distance of our home and will go to them at least once a day. If our visitor isn’t into the dog park scene that is chill too, we are happy to take long walks. Or if we have a couch potato visiting we are happy to kick back and relax.
