Pet care experience
I have taken care of animals as a profession, a pet owner and a friend for many years. I have previously had a toy poodle as a young adult and have lived with and cared for a lab, a boxer, a coonhound, a dachshund puppy, English setters, and a corgi. While working in fish and wildlife, I cared for penguins, tropical birds, endangered birds, reptiles, and rodents and feel that I am qualified to care for and spoil your pet. I have experience pet sitting for friends while away on trips. I will treat your pet like my own and give them extra love while they are away from you. I am a physical therapy resident and would like to spend some time with a furry friend as a study break or a companion while I complete my residency program.
Reviews
You know the person that your dog is always so excited to see and makes you question if they really love you the most? That's Aasta. Her kind, thoughtful heart puts the average person to shame. She's done a wonderful job taking care of my two dogs (wiener dog & Basset hound) while I've been out of town. Aasta has an amazing ability to anticipate the needs of others which makes it easy for her to exceed expectations.

Skills
Information Aasta M. would like to know about your pet
Does your dog have a sensitive stomach? Does your dog have any tender or irritable spots to avoid touching? Is there anything I should steer clear of while walking your dog (squirrels, bikes, children, runners)?
A typical day
I will ask for suggestions from you, but a nice walk in the park is always enjoyable. A bike/running trail is another great place to take your pal. I enjoy playing with the toys provided by you including tug of war and fetch, but a nice scratch and rub is fun as well.
