Hello! My name is Aaron and I’m a 26 year old IT graduate from The University of Cincinnati. I absolutely love animals! My entire life I have always lived with cats and dogs, growing up with 3 cats and 2 dogs and now I have 4 wonderful kitties of my own. I am extremely knowledgeable about animal behavior and I know how to care for animals with all sorts of different personalities. No matter if your pet is super shy or a total cuddle bug, I would love to get to know them and take care of them! When I am watching your pet or pets for you, you can count on consistent, detailed summaries for every one of my visits. I will not only keep you updated on your pets’ daily care, but I will keep you informed on how they are doing on a personal level. I will tell you if anyone was extra chatty or affectionate during my visit, and all about what we did during playtime. Even if your furry friend is timid at first and simply wants to hide, I don’t mind at all! I know very well that some animals just need a gentle voice and some patience, and I am more than happy to sit and wait for them to warm up to me at whatever pace they feel comfortable. I will update you every day about their progress, and I’m sure by the end of my booking me and your pet will be great friends! And of course, you can also expect plenty of pictures from every one of my visits. I know that seeing pictures and getting updates about my cats really puts my mind at ease when I am away from them, and I want you to feel absolutely secure that your precious ones are receiving all of the care and love they deserve while they are eagerly awaiting your return. In addition to taking care of my own pets all my life, I have many years of experience as both a shelter volunteer and a professional pet sitter. I have firsthand experience caring for young kittens, puppies, senior cats and dogs, and animals with unique medical needs. This includes administering insulin injections, ear drops, eye drops, oral medication, pills, topical ointments, and flea preventatives. I work from home, so I have an extremely open and flexible schedule. I can be contacted on short notice for same-day bookings, and I am available at anytime you need me, day or night. Aaron was the perfect person to take care of my two cats! He provided incredibly thorough updates on how they were doing, and clearly put in the effort to understand whether they wanted to play or to just get some affection. He sent tons of photos from each visit, and gave a full update on how my boys were doing. I would highly recommend Aaron to anyone; he’ll love your kiddos almost as much as you do!
Aaron provided wonderful care to my 3 cats! He was responsive and met the requested scheduling needs, which was especially important as one of my cats is diabetic and requires insulin injections on schedule. I definitely recommend Aaron and will hopefully work with him again in the future!

Most importantly, please always be able to provide your pets’ veterinary information and at least one local emergency contact who I can reach out to if needed. Please let me know ahead of time if your pet has any medical needs, including information about any medications I will need to administer and any symptoms that I should be alert for in case veterinary care is needed. Please let me know about how your pet typically responds to new people! If they tend to be shy and may need a couple of days to come out of hiding, that is completely fine. Just let me know so that I can check their favorite hiding spots to make sure they are okay, while also allowing them the time and space they need to feel comfortable. Finally, please let me know about any of your pets’ preferences! Does your dog have a favorite chew toy? Does your cat prefer to eat off of their own plate, instead of sharing one with your other kitties? Does anyone enjoy ice cubes in their water bowl? Do they have a particular spot they just LOVE to be pet? Tell me about these things — I want to know! I want to do anything and everything I can to ensure your furry friend has just as wonderful a time with me as I do with them. So if there’s anything at all I can do to make them happy, please let me know.
A typical day
Every booking begins with me making sure that all of your pets’ needs are taken care of — fresh food, fresh water, and clean litter/bathroom breaks. If your pet requires any kind of medication, this will also be taken care of exactly according to your instructions. After handling these necessities, I like to spend the rest of my drop-in spending quality time with your pet! This may look different for each of your furry friends, depending on their personality and preferences. For example, if it is one of my first visits and they are feeling shy and just want to hide under the bed, I am more than happy to simply sit nearby and talk gently and patiently to them to help them warm up to me. On the other hand, if they are full of energy and feeling playful, I’ll be sure to get them their favorite toys and have some playtime! And if all they really want is someone to sit on the couch and cuddle with them for awhile, I love to do that too. And no matter what, you will receive plenty of pictures and a detailed summary of how your pets are doing every time I see them.
