Pack Leader, Dog Lover
Pet care experience
In the past sixteen years I have had the blessing and opportunity to live, grow and work with three dogs of my own from pup to adulthood. Through that time and now I have made it a point to understand the psyche of the dog through numerous books and personal trainings that allowed me to have a better, healthier, less stress relationship with my animals versus further domesticating them in a harmful manner with human traits and emotions that turn into behavioral and healthful issues with the animal. Through this I have been able to live with my dogs rather than for my dogs, and have also been called upon by family, friends and neighbors who watch me interact with my animals to help with there animals from daily walks, exercise, diet to just plain old advise.
Reviews
From the first message, Aaron was professional and empathetic towards us as “pet parents” and made sure we felt comfortable leaving our pups in his care. We did a virtual meet and greet due to location which was helpful since one of our boys can be a handful for some people. Upon arrival, our highly anxious and energetic boy was overstimulated in the car. I was so impressed how Aaron took the time to deescalate our boy before taking him out of the car. Once our guy was out of the car and on a leash, Aaron continued a slow and deliberate introduction. My concerns were eased watching as its clear Aaron is confident caring for a breed that is often intimidating and requires firm leadership. By the time we picked the pups up they were thoroughly exercised and comfortable within their surroundings and with Aaron’s pup, King! They slept all day once home with us before wanting to do their usual runs! :) i feel confident recommending Aaron as a sitter, especially if you have a dog that needs a confident leader. I would definitely book again. Thank you Aaron for taking excellent care of our boys!
Aaron is considerate and caring and always seeks to research the dogs in his care so they can get the best of him. He cares about their health and well being and strives to keep the dogs active and within their routine. Dogs really love him because he is very affectionate and passionate with his furry friends.
Hello, Aaron is a great dog caregiver. Beofore Rover was around, Aaron helped me out several times with taking care of my pups. he was great about sending me updates and photos while away and our pups always seemed to never want to leave him when it was time for pick. I think Aaron will be a great asset to the Rover community.
Aaron has babysat my children for me multiple times. You can’t ask for a better caregiver he made sure everything was taken care of. I must say he treated my children as if they were his own.
