I have been hired to petsit in Cabo San Lucas and I have been flown to Seattle to petsit. I guess it’s because the owners are very confortable with me taking care of their dogs and their houses. I have also house/pet sat in Colorado and received a thousand thank you for getting one of the dogs to like and actually be excited about walks when she used to hide under the bed to avoid them. I was once asked to take care of a dog that had just been diagnosed with cancer. I took care of him after he had a tumor removed from his leg. He lived happy for a few more months. I prepared special low protein food for him and pet him every night before bedtime.
