I've grown up with animals all my life, and was very involved in their care from an early age. I have experience with almost all the types of pets you can get both in person, sitting or foster situations. I love to work and be around animals.

Aaron has a gift. She was the first "stranger" cat sitter for our high-anxiety cat with aggression issues. We were worried for our cat and even more worried for Aaron, but everything went smoothly. Aaron handled our difficult cat with such care that she behaved the whole time, and did not display her usual post-separation bitterness after our return. I would not hesitate to recommend her to anyone!
Aaron is an amazing pet sitter and great person! I feel totally comfortable having her in my home to pet sit our cat overnight while we are out of town. She is so reliable and caring I would highly recommend her services to anyone looking for pet care.

I always set up a meeting before any sitting so we can go over expectations of care and I can be shown the routines, where everything is and to meet the pet I will have in my care. This allows me to be prepared for pet sitting that takes place. I am focused on matching the care the family provides.

I would like to know routines, any feeding specialities and what the dog is allowed to do at home (sleep on the couch, crate, bed, etc). Relationships with other dogs/strangers is important for when I take them out on walks to know how I should handle people who would like to pet them or dogs that want to say hi. Any speciality care is good to know too, as I seek to make your dog (and you!) as comfortable as possible.
A typical day
I enjoy going for neighbourhood walks for up to an hour, letting both of us explore. I also like to take a dog on hikes or to a dog friendly beach on the weekends when I can.

Availability
I work in Elementary School childcare, so I work shorter hours which allows me to spend more time with pets and give them outdoor breaks more frequently.
