I've lived with cats since I was a kid, and I have several years of experience as a primary carer for my own (now senior!) rescue kitty. The biggest lesson I’ve learned: cats like routine! Aaron took great care of my senior kitties who can be a bit finicky and require daily meds. He was very communicative and sent lots of pictures.

I like to learn about your cat’s usual habits and behaviors, so I can tell when your feline is feeling stressed or anxious. I also like to learn about your own cat care routines, so I can keep your cat’s environment as stable as possible while you are away. This includes diet, medications, play/exercise, and litter box.
A typical day
A cat care visit usually involves a litter box check, toy time (especially for sociable/energetic cats), a water refill, and feeding per your instructions. With my own kitty, I like to provide food/treats after playtime ends to help satisfy his hunting instincts, but this varies from cat to cat.

Availability
I am available most days for drop-ins and most nights for housesitting, and I update my calendar weekly. Please message me if you have any questions about my calendar—I may be able to accommodate you! After you reach out, I typically request a meet-and-greet with new clients to make sure I know your cat’s needs and habits. For housesitting specifically, I can usually dedicate the hours between 8p and 6a to overnight cat care, along with some additional time during the day (depending on other obligations—this is something I’m happy to discuss prior to booking).
