Pet care experience
We both grew up with dogs and have taken care of them as long as we can remember. Anja volunteered at an animal shelter in Germany where she walked and cared for dogs of all sizes. We absolutely LOVE dogs which is why our family and friends have relied on us many times for sitting and walking their dogs! We enjoy teaching dogs new skills and are training our 1.5 year old Newfypoo (Newfoundland-Poodle mix) every day! No matter if we're sitting, walking your dog or dropping in, we will ALWAYS treat your dog as if he/she were our own while following any special requests you might have!

Aaron and Anja watched my dog Jackson for the day while we skied, and they were great! Jackson got along great with their dog Ivy so he came back a happy and tired pup. Aaron also gave updates after the day for potty’s which I appreciated!
Anja and Aaron took great care of Lucy! This was our first time hiring a pet sitter, so we weren't sure what to expect. We loved getting updates while we were gone and seeing videos and pictures of Lucy with her new friends. We definitely recommend this duo when you need someone to care for your pets!
Anja and Aaron did a great job housesitting and watching my dog and cat. Everything was in great condition when I returned, cleaned and thorough. The pets were happy and healthy! I'd use them again, 100%

We live in a fairly spacious 2 bedroom apartment with a park and hiking trails right outside our door! Our Newfypoo Ivy is VERY friendly, active and playful. She loves dogs of all sizes and will make sure your fur baby feels welcome in our home!

Information Aaron & Anja F. would like to know about your pet
Please let us know if your dog pulls on the leash or has any leash aggression, how they interact with other dogs and what their overall temperament is. We would also love to get to know your dog a little beforehand (what are his/ her favorite things to do? does he/she need any medication? what is his/her feeding schedule? does he/she like to learn new tricks? How many potty breaks does he/she need? etc.) We love all dogs and have no breed restrictions but please note that for our safety and our dogs’ safety we don't accept any aggressive or reactive dogs.
A typical day
We'd love to take your dog on runs, long walks or hikes - depending on their physical health. Since mental stimulation is as important as physical exercise we play different mind games such as hide & seek (our dogs' absolute favorite) throughout the day. We'd also love to teach your dog new tricks and skills if he/she is into that! Also, no day passes without an extensive sniffing session.

Availability
We are both very flexible and have time to take care of your fur baby every day of the week! Aaron is working from home and can walk your dog during his breaks or in between meetings. Anja moved to the US from Germany a little more than a year ago and just received her US work authorization (yay!). Therefore she has plenty of time to give your dog all the attention he/she deserves - long walks, trips to the dog park, cuddles, play sessions and teaching new skills/tricks. Since we have a pup on our own, yours will fit right in!
