This sitter was completely irresponsible and should not be allowed to continue pet sitting in any circumstances. First she doesn’t show up when we’re supposed to meet so she can take care of spike and goes out and leaves her boyfriend to retrieve my dog even after i specifically mentioned my dog doesn’t feel uncomfortable around men. Then I find out 2 days in that because of her chaotic household where she again wasn’t present, her son left the door open to the outside and my dog ran out of a 2nd story apartment and they had to chase him back. He got cuts from the hot cement on both of his front paws and is currently struggling to walk. And to make matters worse she didn’t let me know what happened until the next day. We called to find exact details and she spoke to us assuring that she would be home the rest of his stay to care for his injury. I personally didn’t feel comfortable leaving him with her after that so I let her know someone would be coming to get spike and she later asked when they would be showing up because she had plans to visit her in laws after she just assured us she would be staying with my dog for the rest of his stay. When spike was picked up she was again unaccounted for and left her boyfriend to take care of him again. Reminder spike was already in loads of pain and especially didn’t feel comfortable with all the males he was left alone with in their house.
