Pet care experience
Hello! I have a 7 month old puppy, and 1 year old German Shepard, and a 11 year old cat. My German Shepard and cat are family pets while my puppy is shared between my boyfriend and I. We have taken turns training him and he is a German Shepard/Husky mix. He’s stubborn and a bit dramatic so I’ve had my patience tested. He’s still in training as he is a puppy but he has a few tricks up his sleeve. I am a college student at Texas A&M but I’m virtual this year. I have a lot of time on my hands for puppies as you can tell. Being online has allowed me to pay a lot more attention to my puppy’s training. All my classes end before 1 pm MWF and on TTR they end around 11 am. I travel to and from Illinois. I am currently in Illinois.

I have seen her become more patient and outgoing with animals since she’s rescued Milo, her puppy. She has a soft spot for every animal and takes their well being seriously. She loves to spoil him and is active with him; dog parks, dog walks, training, etc. Highly recommend especially if you have a puppy.

I would like to know if there are any particular habits that your pets have so I can accommodate to that. It is also important for you to disclose to me whether or not they your pets are trained/ in the process of being trained. (If they jump on strangers, growl, are friendly, etc. ) I ask this because I also want the pet to be comfortable around me and for you to also have some reliability with me also fulfilling that training as well (just so we don’t break habits).
A typical day
For my puppy, we typically go over his training before and after meals. We take walks outside and spend about 30 min-1 hour playing in a fenced area. We usually play fetch. I typically stay around my apartment.
