About: My name is Kaitlyn, and I'm a dog trainer in the Grays Harbor area. I have been successfully working with owners to rehabilitate fearful and/or reactive dogs for almost a decade now. I have also been a competitive dog agility instructor for 7 years. My own dog is Oakley, a Miniature American Shepherd, and he helps me with fearful or reactive dog clients by being a neutral dog with great communication skills. Before becoming a dog trainer full time, I worked at a dog daycare in Mukilteo for 3 years. It was a great experience and gave me a lot of knowledge about dog behavior and handling large groups of dogs. I compete in seven different dog sports with my own dogs, but we love agility and flyball most. I am available whenever I'm not already teaching classes or at a competition. Scheduling is open as we just moved to the new area from Seattle. I am experienced with dogs who are difficult or nervous around strangers. I use scientifically backed, LIMA guided dog training to guide dogs through their feelings as gently as I am capable while accomplishing learning. In any case, I like to engage with dogs in a way that's most comfortable for them. Each dog is different! I am not comfortable taking unfamiliar dogs off leash outside of the home or yard for safety reasons, but I am happy to work on this skill with them if requested!

About: I have petsitted and walked dogs for family, friends, and neighbors since I was 14. Which included feeding them, taking them for walks, and watching them. I am a college student and athlete, all my classes are online so I'm always at home for school work. I do however have wrestling practice for 2 hours every night during the week. I live in a trailor that is plenty big enough for pets of all sizes, there is a yard and lots of trails bear by for walks and to play outside.

About: I have always picked up pet sitting and walking gigs since I was young! I lived in an area where people needed a lot of house/pet sitting so I have watched pretty much every animal (even stick bugs) I grew up in the Seattle area, so I can guarantee that I am a trust worthy sitter. I also have a lot of past experience in childcare (I’ve taught English in Thailand and have also worked at a Children’s autism center) so that can show you that I am also kind, which is a very important character for a pet sitter in my opinion. I currently am only work 30 hours a week, my days off are Monday-Wednesday and I am available every day until 5. So I basically have the opposite schedule of what most people are working which is perfect :) I also live in an apartment with 2 small dogs (shitzu/poodle mixes) and 2 cats (tabby cats). I love them all, they all varie in ages and gender so I am very familiar with caring for animals and knowing what each individual animal requires, so that shows that I can also watch multiple pets at a time without worry :) Also I am a very fit person, I love getting outside in walks and in nature, but I also do like staying in and cooking or reading a book. So whether your pet wants to go adventure or just chillax, then I’m your girl!

About: I’ve been taking care of animals since my first job at the vet at age 16. I’ve grown up caring for dogs, cats and horses. My friends and family rely on me to watch their babies when their out of town and care for them. I hope you can find trust in me with your babies. I make my own work schedule therefore leaving me available to pet sit whenever I want and am available. I’m available mostly weekends Thursdays - Sundays. But will keep my calendar updated for during the week as well. I have a six foot fenced yard, my pets are fed twice a day and water is cleaned and rinsed daily and in the middle of the day. There is a doggy door, so dogs come and go to use the restroom.

About: My pets are my four legged kids. They aren't just animals. They are treated like another member of the family. I love all the animals. It's a part of my daily life. My animals are well taken care of, spoiled if you will. My dog gets special cookies from the pet store to encourage him to eat. With lots of love and affection, attention and exercise. About: I love animals so I will create genuine connections with your pets. Since I was very young animals have been my happy place more than anything. I love bathing, walking, grooming and caring for animals of all types. Ive always tried to help stray animals or lost animals and love welcoming new animals into my home and heart. About: I have taken care of dogs for years! I have dogs ranging from sizes from Chihuahua to German Shepherd! I am experienced with Chihuahuas, who aren't very friendly to Overactive puppies! About: I've worked with a variety of animals throughout my life and dogs have taken up the majority of that experience. I will wash and refill both the food and water when needed, provide brushing for dogs with longer coats. Take them outside if allowed for backyard runs, play time, emotional support and supervision. About: I have 3 dogs of my own; my old man toy poodle Chai, big baby Baxter, and sweet lil mama Maisie! All of them are non aggressive, and love new friends. My husband is military, so as we travel, I have worked on rescuing and rehabilitating animals in need.
