About: I love all furry friends! I have grown up with pets my whole life! With having a blue heeler and black lab of my own, I know what a pup needs to feel loved! I am a stay at home mom, so I am up frequently with my pups making sure they are well cared for throughout the day with treats and cuddles! I have a fully fenced in back yard, with two furry friends of my own to encourage your pup to play! They are both very friendly and love making new friends!
About: I have been dog-sitting since 2016. I volunteer at Fort Wayne Animal and Control, walking dogs, and I regularly dogsit for friends. My first dog-sitting experience was 4 labs (a lot of energy), but I loved it; I can see the impact of when dogs can stay in their own home rather than being put in a shelter. Volunteering at the animal shelter has allowed me to give animals with less fortunate circumstances love and kindness so that they feel valued and give them time to socialize with a human. I have training that was given by the animal care and control center, which has helped me learn how to walk dogs and work with dogs. I am a graduate student at Huntington University, and as I head into summer courses, my availability will open up so that I can be with the animal for the majority of the day. I am very active, and I love taking walks, so there is no doubt in my mind that I couldn't walk a dog multiple times a day. I have always felt the animals I cared for would feel safe in their own home; this is why I have always offered to stay at the owner's house so the dog can feel safe in their known environment. Some dogs love being in new places, but sound, unknown environments, and new smells, can cause dogs to become anxious if put in a new home. I also believe dogs act most relaxed in their home environment, and they have the toys, food, and treats that they need.
About: Most of my friends call me an animal whisperer. I love pets and always have. Born and raised on a farm, animals are not new to me. I am pretty well versed in loving animals, as well as caring for animals as they deserve. I am currently home full-time, loving on my own 50 lb. Aussiedoodle, Hans. Hans and I would love to offer our spare time in support of your pet needs. I also am a guinea pig mom to 9 special guinea pigs! Animals are the way to my heart, and I can always make time for one more. Although it doesn't specify caged animals, like guinea pigs, I am happy to pet sit, board, or help with daily care of your caged pets. I do not currently have a fenced yard, but I live on open acres set apart from any close neighbors. Leashes can be used outside of the home to provide ultimate safety and security for your pet. I am always available to answer any questions or concerns you may have.
About: I’ve taken care of dogs for 3-4 years. I have knowledge of cleaning, feeding, and walking dogs. Mostly my neighbors have asked me to pet sit, but I do have good experience. I’m currently working part-time at a nursing home, so I have plenty of time to pet sit. I’m going to college this fall and looking for some extra money. In your home I usually make sure that all the doors are locked so no one tries to break in, and I usually don’t let the animal I’m sitting out of my site.
