About: Hi, I'm Leslie! This is my alternative option since my husband refused to allow me and adopt another fur baby 😅. I've had dogs my entire life. From the time I was a toddler, dogs have been a constant and beloved presence in my world. Growing up, my family always had at least one furry friend, and caring for them became second nature to me. I live in a house with a big back yard where your fur babies can run around and enjoy nature! We will always have someone out there as well to make sure everything is okay.

About: Throughout high school and a couple of years in college, I worked and volunteered at a handful of vet clinics and shelters. I studied animal science for one year in undergraduate and have a moderate-above average understanding of animal health and behavior. Throughout my time working at a vet clinic in high school, for four years, I assisted in surgeries, learning how to do exams, and tending to animals both big and small. I have an above average understanding of behavior training methods including classical and operant conditioning from studying psychology in my undergraduate and masters program. I do not believe in corporal punishment. For an extra fee I will work with your pet learning tricks, leash training, litter training (cats), doggie door training, and overall environmental well-being assessments. I work from home and will continue to do so for the foreseeable future. I am home all day with our animals. We have a doggie door that is periodically left open for autonomous access to our spacious, fenced backyard. I am typically home in the evenings studying or working on projects for my small business so I am always available to the pets and take conscious efforts to ensure they are stimulated throughout the day. Pets will be allowed to roam throughout the home as they please throughout the day and will be either crated or sequester to their designated room during sleeping hours. If you have specific preferences on crating hours or sleeping arrangements, I would be happy to discuss those during consultation. All animals are fed dinner at 8pm. We do not feed animals human food in our home, and will not feed our clients dogs human food either. Our animals have plenty of toys for your animals to play with in our home, but we are always open to accepting your animals favorite toys here during their stay, however, we cannot guarantee the quality of the toy in our household. We only purchase durable toys for our dogs.

I am available weekends and weekdays. Tuesdays are the only days I am available before 8am and after 4pm. I have a large fenced yard and live on half an acre. I have a couple of friendly dogs/fosters to keep your fur baby company. I can also easily and safely crate your fur baby for their safety, this is a requirement.

About: Growing up I always had animals around me. My childhood dog, Twinkie was a cute little yappy Pomeranian. She was a picky eater, but would always save a treat in her bowl and only ate it with me after I came home from school. In high school I volunteered at the local Wildlife Rescue where I cared for various small injured animals. I was responsible for feeding and weighing them, cleaning their cages, raising meal worms, and even got to observe surgeries. After college I lived a veterinarian so I am used to caring for random foster animals without notice. I work from home with a flexible schedule to care for animals. I can type on my computer in the same room your pet naps. I can take your pet on walks at any time needed, though I recommend mornings and evenings due to the current heat outside. I cook and clean for all of my own meals and can do the same for your pet. I can schedule cuddles or play time as needed throughout the day as well. :) I have a downstairs lounge, an upstairs living room, and a few bonus rooms in which your pet can relax. There are no other animals or plants in these areas. Crating is fine, but I prefer animals to have more space and freedom to move about. If I am coming to your home I am happy to follow any rules or special instructions you may have. During down times I will be using my laptop quietly in the same room as your pet.
