My mom is a retired teacher who adores animals and has been hands-on with many of our bookings. We always communicate clearly about who will be caring for your pet — and we treat every pet like family. This reassures clients nothing changes except availability improves. As a college pre-med student with a passion for pets, I balance my studies with caring for animals, ensuring they receive the attention and care they deserve. My medical background gives me an extra edge when it comes to understanding health needs, administering medications, and ensuring pets stay happy and healthy. I prioritize each pet’s well-being while managing my busy academic schedule, offering owners peace of mind that their pets are in capable, loving hands. When caring for pets in our or client's home, we ensure a safe and comfortable environment tailored to each pet's specific needs. If they stay in our home, we create a cozy space with plenty of playtime, walks, and attention. We maintain routines, whether it's feeding schedules, medications, or nap times, to minimize stress. For in-home visits, we focus on maintaining the pet’s usual environment and routine, providing personalized care such as feeding, play, and cuddles, while also ensuring their space is clean and secure. About: I’ve taken care of pets my whole life and would love to take care of yours! I will treat them the same I treat my own pets, with care and love 🩷 I’m currently job hopping and hoping to fill my time in making new animal friends. I have a lot of time and am pretty flexible I make sure everyone is safe and happy, including the environment they live in. I will happily go out of my way to make sure these pets are safe.

About: I walk an Jog everyday. I love dogs a puppies and cats! I also have 3 pet rabbits so if you have a rabbit I can take care of it as well. I have 4 dogs and 4 cats. 2 of my dogs are pure breed German shepherds and 1 is a Golden Shepherd so I’m not scared of big dogs!! I can do any drop in visit for cats or dogs or walks I’m a stay at home mom. My time is pretty free daily. I’m available for any drop in visit or daily walks. I also did Certified nursing my junior year of high school at a vocational school. I will follow all care instructions for the clients house and everything they tell me for the care of the pets they have so they know it’s right.

About: Growing up my family always had at least one or more pets of various breeds so I have 20+ years of experience around animals. I have cared for dogs, cats, fish, lizards, rabbits, goats, and hedgehogs. Personally, my husband & I have 2 dogs currently, 9 & 10 years old, one having epilepsy & is dependent on medication. I have helped raise/care for/train puppies, kittens, baby rabbits, & baby goats. The only pet I'm not comfortable with is snakes, my little sister has one but I only look at it from 3ft away in its enclosure, haha. I work part time Tu/W/Th 8A - 5P, I do not mind caring for pets those days, however I will be gone all day. Otherwise, I'm available for your pets needs! My personal routine with my pets: My husband helps me care for our pets daily but his schedule is a bit different than mine, so our dogs are let out at least within 4-6 hours those days. Otherwise, we let them out every 2-4 depending on their needs (which they have been trained to lets us know if they need to go sooner). Our medical dog is on a 12 hr medication schedule. I'd prefer to care in my clients home due to one of my dogs having a reactive past, it was quite a transition when we inherited our other dog. If you have a specific routine, I'm ready to follow it to the T! I'm comfortable walking dogs on leash, hanging out/playing with them in a fenced yard, or just chilling inside. As mentioned, I have experience with medically dependent pets. I have an escape artist, so I'm always vigilant of their proximity to me and prepared to run/chase in the event something happens. I can stay at the home with the pets or I can visit throughout the day!

About: I have been taking care of my own dogs since I was young and love to be around all animals! I used to nanny for a family with 5 kids and they had a wonderful dog that I always helped to care for! Feeding and taking him to the groomers and vet appointments…all things that I was lucky to get to help with! I also used to care for 2 cats (both needing to take medication) and a bull dog on a daily basis! I have a Jack Russell (that just passed away) myself that I had for about 10+ years and no kids do she was my only fur baby! I have recently in the past year gotten a brand new puppy named Sugar! She is a beagle/terrier/lab mix and 25 pounds of Adorableness! She is so sweet And absolutely my little girl, as she follows me everywhere and tries to be wherever I am, and always under foot!!! She’s a little skittish and still all puppy at eight months! So I am no stranger to puppy needs at all! I also have Bella, who is a pit/beagle mix and she is a little over a year and a half old! She is 60 pounds of crazy but happy and smart and always at my husband side! What a love bug! But remember, with pets, there is no personal space! Lol I love pets of all kinds and will care for them as if they were my own! Snuggles are free!!! I am currently a part-time private nanny, to a bunch of different families who may need care for their little ones day a week, and my schedule is always changing from week to week! This is a little niche that I found that nobody was able to fill, and I wanted to dedicate my career to helping those families who only need four hours a day one day a week and that doesn’t necessarily need to be the same day. As my schedules always changing, my availability will always be changing so I will try to keep that up-to-date as I hope more of you reach out! I’m really looking forward to all the snuggles! I am always very mindful of the time for feedings and walks…any medication will be given correctly and timely…I will make sure your home is locked up after I leave from a walk and/or feeding! Please know that I will do my best to. Gain the trust of the animal! Cats too!

My dogs are not the easiest to take care of (I have a 17 year old blind one who wears diapers) but Lauren was a champ and cleaned up messes. I will use her again for my next trip.”

About: Very loving and passionate about fur babies! We own a personal farm whom we take love and compassion to care for them! I have experience with home pets along with outside pets. i am a very active women who can keep up with any active pet. Looking forward to meeting new lovely fur babies! Available during the day, Monday through Friday. Can do some evenings and will also be available weekends depending on times client want the service done. Prefer to care in clients home, although could do at my house. We do own some land where they could roam while potty but as stated before, prefer to go in clients home.

About: I am a stage 4 cancer survivor looking to turn my love of dogs into meaningful work that can pay my bills and help me rebuild my fuhds. Given clear and open communication, I can be somewhat flexible with my schedule. I have experience working with breeds such as beagles, German shepherds, and labrador retrievers. I am not looking to "just go through the motions" with pet sitting. Animals have always been a major priority in my life and I want to make sure your dogs are taken care of and enjoying themselves. I am usually available for afternoon and evening gigs. I am also willing and able to do overnight stays if given the proper notice to do so. I assess the pet's needs on a case by case basis. Some dogs are very laid back and only require food and bathroom breaks. For more energetic and/ or needier dogs, I am willing to do frequent walks and play with them. Also, I do currently still have an ileostomy bag attached to my stomach. For the most part, I am feeling healthier and dealing with less fatigue than when I initially had tumor removal surgery, but I feel like all of my clients should be aware of this from the jump. I feed my dog once when I wake up and again in the middle of the day. I also let him out frequently based on physical and vocal cues. For lazier dogs, I can do a variety of relaxing activities with them in my sight. As for more energetic dogs, I love playing with them in their yard or taking them for neighborhood walks.

I have a breadth of experience caring for my former pets and my home, as well as house and pet sitting for friends and for my clients. I make an excellent house/petsitter due to my experience with and love for animals and my tidy and loving personality! ** I charge $45 / night for 1-6 night house stays, but have a sliding scale for longer sits (negotiable at the time of request). I am open to traveling farther distances for 1+ week sits. I am attending VCU for my MSW M-F from 8-4, so I have limited availability for midday potty breaks/check-ins during the week, but I have open availability most evenings and weekends. For boarding requests, my partner works from my home and is available to offer potty breaks/check-ins for pets while I’m at school. I’m happy with staying overnight for housesitting or sharing my home for boarding! I have the utmost care and respect for my clients pets and homes and treat them as if they were my own. In my own home I am on the third floor so, walking and potty breaks are around my complex. Theyre strict about breeds here unfortunately, but that also limits other dog exposure(if your doggie baby happens to not enjoy other dogs). I do currently have one 2 year old calico cat in home. She is shy and sweet. I additionally have a son who is happy to have fur baby guests and responsible about pet safety as well.
