“Buster had the best time! What a great experience! I now feel so much better when I need to leave town that Buster has someone who he feels comfortable with. He will miss his home away from home:)”

“Jose always does a great job with my doggie. He was able to accept my dog early in the morning with little notice and always sends pics and videos of Hazel on her walks. I book with Jose for every trip I make to northern CA because he’s on the way to where we normally go. I will keep booking him as I’m happy with his care for my dog”
“Barbara was so friendly, accommodating, and attentive to our pup right away. Charlie came back to us brushed and smelling nice. This was a great first experience. 100% recommend. Thanks Barbara!”

“Dominie was AMAZING!!! She took care of our Stormi as if she was her own pup! We will be definitely will be using her always when we need to board our girl. This was the first time we left our pup behind and we were nervous but right off the bat Dominie made it so easy! She sent us updates and pictures through out the day. Our pup was left in the best hands possible! ♥️”

“Adriana is the best pet sitter I have ever known. She spoils my dog, gives him treats, and bathes him before I pick him up. I would highly recommend Adriana for any of your pet care needs.”

About: I’d say what really sets me apart is how much I genuinely care about the pets I’m watching. I don’t just “check in” on them I try to make them feel safe, comfortable, and loved while their owner is away. I take time to learn their personality, routines, and little habits so I can care for them in a way that feels familiar to them. I have experience with both young and senior pets. With puppies, I’m patient and consistent with things like potty training, basic commands, and building good habits. With older pets, I understand they may need a slower pace, extra attention, or help with things like medication and sticking to a routine. I’m also big on communication I like to send updates and pictures so you know your pet is doing well. Overall, I just treat every pet like they’re my own and make sure they feel as happy and stress free as possible. I currently live with my partner and my puppy all i do at home is do online school and take care of my puppy all day! I have a fenced backyard a pet safe house with pet gates as well lots of toys and food of course! I love caring for pets i am studying to become a Vet tech

“Anna is an incredible dog sitter. She sent us plenty of pictures of our dog. She also frequently told us how he was doing throughout the day. I definitely recommend Anna if you need a dog sitter.”

“Esmeralda was very attentive to our girl and always kept us updated on her care. We felt very comfortable and at ease during her time with our precious baby. I highly recommend her.”

“Have used Julie many times! Tank loves it there and is always excited when I drop him off. So nice having someone I can trust and feel good about leaving him with when we leave town. Also love that he gets to interact with other dogs as he is the only dog at home.”
“We are new to Rover and so happy that we found Jennifer…She was so excited to meet our Luna and definitely catered to her every need while she was staying with her…We’ve never left Luna with someone other than family but she stayed with Jennifer for a week and was pampered cared for and walked everyday…She also sent us pictures and kept us updated even when I wasn’t able to always respond…If we ever need someone to sit for Luna again Jennifer will be our first pick…”

“Stephanie would get 10 starts from me if Rover allowed. She was super responsive, made me feel super comfortable by showing me her backyard set up. She sent me an update about my pup to reassure me that she was safe and having a great time. Thank you so much Stephanie, you were great! My dog and your dog got along so well and boy did my dog rest ALL day when she was back LOL”
“Excellent boarding service. The family is very friendly and helpful. We feel very safe boarding our 2 yr old and 11 yr old dogs with them. We have been back several times and will keep coming back.”

“Nalani was great with Gerald! I had to reschedule for a last minute boarding and she was able to take him in and make sure he was safe and happy! Will definitely be sticking with rover as my boarding whenever I am in need of a sitter for my dog.”

“I’ve never had my dogs literally excited once they realized they were being dropped off at a dog sitter before. This is my second time using Sara and when I was standing at her front door to drop them off, my elderly dog was scratching at the door to be let in! Both dogs immediately acted like she was family. Highly recommend”

“Melissa was absolutely great with our Ariel. Ariel had the best time. Melissa sent pictures and updates. Ariel was happy while being there. Definitely will be using Melissa again”

By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
