About: I have been taking care of animals since I was a kid who lived on a little farm. My experience ranges from birds, ferrets, reptiles, & cats, dogs. Animal care has always been something I’m passionate about. I know how important my animals are to me and so I will take the best care of yours while you’re away. I am a full time teacher so pet care is on the evenings most of the time. I can schedule weekends ahead of time and be available all day to let your loved ones outside as needed. During the summer my availability will be wide open! My pets are treated like a member of the family. I think that animals in our care should be shown love and grace because we chose to take care of them.

“Jodi is absolutely amazing! She is very thorough and thoughtful of my dogs needs. Even when unexpected things happen she is very accommodating. I completely trust that when she is watching my fur child, she has their best interest at heart!”

About: I am local foster through a local rescue. My husband and I both have a passion for dogs and will treat your fur babies like they are our own! We have experience caring for puppies as young as 8 week and seniors. We are comfortable administering medications if needed and are familiar with pups who may have seizures. We don’t have any stairs so there is no need to worry about a senior pup who might have hip issues needing to climb stairs. I work full time and my husband works full time as well. Our schedules are staggered so your pup would be let out first thing in the morning by myself and then my husband will resume until he leaves for work. Midday we have a family member come over and let the dogs go outside and allow them to eat and drink as well as have some time to play. They are never left alone for more than 4-6 hours at a time. The days I’m off I’m home and my husband works from home 2 days a week as well. We have had this routine for over 4 years now with our own personal dogs and there has never been any issues. We had a brand new privacy fence installed on July 12th! We have a half acre back yard so dogs will have plenty of room to run! We will do our best to accommodate any special requests you may have. Please note our home was recently built so our grass is still in the process of growing. There may be days your pet becomes muddy if conditions are rainy. I am happy to provide a bath for your pet for a small additional fee upon request. I also highly recommend doing a meet and greet prior to your stay to ensure your dog will be comfortable with my pets and around the house.

About: I have loved dogs since childhood and over the last 11 years I have fostered and adopted senior dogs to give them a forever home. I’m currently home full-time, so your dog will have my full attention, company, and care around the clock. Whether it’s belly rubs, gentle walks, or just relaxing together, I make sure each dog feels at home. I have a secure, pet-friendly home with plenty of space and a calm environment—perfect for seniors, anxious pups, or dogs that just need some extra TLC. I have a big fenced yard with a doggy door so they can come and go as they please. I just lost my senior boxer, Taylor, so it’s just me and my big rescue, Hank, a hound mix. I’ve cared for countless dogs in this home, including special need seniors.

“Morgan has been wonderful! I was able to get her on fairly short notice and she made sure we were able to do a meet and greet first. She was very friendly and gave lots of attention to my animals. She walked different routes each time with the dogs so they could get new sights and smells! Superb effort and attitude!”

“Helped out on short notice and was very communicative. Great notes and pictures and Kit was super happy after the walks.”

About: I have owned and taken care of pets since I was a child. I love animals! They deserve top notch care and I will provide that to them! I am available in the evenings and weekends. I am flexible and can be available during the day, some. Whatever you need, we will figure it out. I will not just put your fur baby in a crate, I will interact, play, and cuddle with them! While you are away, your pet will be safe and well taken care of.

About: We love dogs! We are called first when any of our friends go out of town. We have cared for dogs of all sizes and ages from older doxies to young mutts and we love large rotties too. We are also okay with special needs dogs and we make sure your dog gets their medications when scheduled. Our lab loves to make new friends with dogs of all sizes. We have a nice privacy fenced in back yard with a kiddie pool to help the dogs keep cool during the summer even though they will spend most of the time inside. Please know that if your pup stays with us he or she will be treated like a part of the family. We love dogs! I help my Dad on his farm only when I'm not scheduled to care for a pup I'm hosting. I'm free to stay at home all day with your pet. I always keep an eye on what's going on. I'm usually outside if our pups are. If I'm watching a pet at your home, I don't make messes.

About: I have taken care of dogs for over 15 years. I have mainly taken care of smaller dogs usually under 15lbs. I do kennel dogs overnight. I do part-time tutoring, but I am at home majority of the time. Dogs will have access to fenced yard via doggy door while I am home and will need to be kenneled when I am not. I have a fenced yard. We have 3 small dogs and 1 cat. Our dogs are definitely barkers, but are sweet. Cat is indoor-outdoor cat and gets along great with dogs.

About: More than years of experience it's more my deep intuition with animals, the ability to read there needs before they show signs, and a genuine connection that builds trust quickly! I don't just watch pets I understand them, care for them like family, and tailor every moment to their comfort, health and happiness. From senior pets needing gentle care to high energy pups craving engagement, I bring patience, professionalism, and heart to every paw print in my path. I work from home, so I have all the time available to walk pets, care and more. Pet care fits into my plans any time of the day due to the amount of free time I have. Your pets safety is my top priority! I've created a secure, pet friendly environment designed for comfort, supervision, and peace of mind. Whether it's playtime or rest, I maintain a clean hazard free space, and follow strict safety protocols because I care for every pet like they're my own. About: I have experience with rats, reptiles, dogs, sheep, cats, cattle, and dogs. Even my livestock animals have been pets. I had my first dog at five years old, and I have cared for pets ever since. I have experience with medicating pets with both edible medicine and shots. I have cared for high-needs pets whether that be a young animal with an illness or a senior pet. I have cooked whole food balanced meals for dogs and rats. I have experience training dogs, rats, sheep, and calves. My rats could go through obstacle courses, my livestock animals would walk right next to me and even go down the road on walks right by my side, and my dogs have known many cute tricks. I love extra large and high energy breeds. I have experience with both. Currently, I have a German Short-haired Pointer and know how much it takes to keep them stimulated! I work in the psychology field, but I am a contractor who can create my own schedule and can work around any walking or pet-sitting appointments. I would treat clients' pets just as I treat my own, like family. My love for animals gives me the ability to care dearly for pets and do what is best for them while keeping the pet parent's wishes in mind.

About: I've been taking care of my families and friends pets since i was 12 and I've loved every minute of it thats why I'm here It works perfectly fine because I'm currently enrolled in 15 hours of classes which only takes a little bit of my time away from home. I take care of the pets by constantly providing them with attention whether that be taking them out to walk, playing with toys, or teaching them new tricks. I also make sure that I'm teaching the dogs what is right and whats wrong and try to give them the best care I can while they are under my supervision.

“Very thoughtful and caring to my pets. They even brought in the package at my door.”

About: i have many years of both professional and volunteer experience working with animals. I work with cats and dogs of all sizes and ages at my day job with Haven of the Ozarks. During my nearly four years with Lawrence Pet Friends, I got to walk dogs and provide in-home care for dogs, cats, birds, rodents, and reptiles, plus one emperor scorpion named Fluffy. I also spent a summer working with brood mares and their foals at the Kansas Center for Equine Breeding. In my personal life, I have also kept aquatic animals and rats. My experience has included neonatal kittens and puppies, as well as disabled animals. I am comfortable working with blind and deaf animals, seizure-risk animals, and animals with incontinence and mobility issues. I am comfortable giving oral medication and bottle feeding. I am also willing to meet and learn about any kind of pet you may have. Whether I’m there to let your dog out to potty and play a quick game of tug-of-war, or to work with them on leash walking, or to hang out with an anxious kitty while you’re on vacation, I promise to love your animals just as you would! I currently work five days a week at the Haven, from 8:30 AM to 4 PM, with varying levels of flexibility therein. I also have obligations every other Tuesday evening. However, with enough notice, we can absolutely work out a plan for you and your pet! At this time, I am only providing in-home care. My cats would hate me if I brought a dog home! For vacation cat clients, I can do a one-or-two visit per day arrangement for feeding and litter scooping and love. Or if your pet is most comfortable with someone in the house, I can stay with them overnight. For daytime doggie clients, I can visit up to four times a day depending on schedule and distance, providing a walk and potty run at 7 am, noon, 4:30pm, and 9pm.

I love going on walks with my dog and would look forward to taking yours on walks as well! I would take them out multiple times a day to play and potty, and would ensure they’re getting great care!

“Meg is my wife. She is unabashedly the biggest animal lover I have ever met. I rarely had any pets growing up so she brought me into the world of what it means to be a pet dad and truly build a special relationship with animals. She loves everything from dogs and cats, to birds, reptiles, and ferrets. She grew up raising a variety of different pets. She is a very organized person and loves scheduling and planning. She would make an excellent companion to any ones fur babies.”

Bonnie & Jared D.
“Bonnie and Jared took the best care of my two boys while we were on vacation. They sent pictures throughout the week so we could see our pups and even took one to scheduled “therapy” appointments for us! The boys were excited to see us, but I know they are missing the love and attention they got. Oh, and when we had an unexpected flight delay, they were gladly willing to keep them one extra day. I’d completely recommend Bonnie and Jared to watch your dogs. They are true dog lovers!”

Carissa J.
“Carissa is one of those types of people who would like a whole zoo of animals for whom to care. She'd have all sorts, including the wild and ferocious kinds. She certainly does have a natural love for them all. In fact, for the most part, she's a vegetarian. She rarely eats meat. She also shared with me how she's rescued many dogs in the past and given them homes. My dog immediately fell in love with her. She doesn't do the bare minimum of care; she actively plays with him and shows plenty of affection. She's even willing to text you a picture of your dog, when asked, so you can see how happy he is. She's a sweet soul, and you'll immediately fall in love with her and will be relieved your "baby" is in her loving care.”

Jonathan K.
“Jonathan blesses these animals with the love that he has for them naturally. He loves all animals and has a special place in his heart for them. He loves to interact with them and teach them new things. He does not just get pets and throw them to the side. He truly cares and loves each of his pets. I truly believe he is a good dog/cat caretaker and your animals will be loved just the same. Patty K.”

“Hayden loves animals and takes her responsibilities caring for her own pets and others seriously. She has cared for our family cats and they were very well attended to,( fed, watered, played with, and doctored when needed). She has also walked and cared for many dogs while their owners were away and she was a repeat caregiver for them, so they valued her assistance and work. Hayden is punctual, responsible, and pours her heart into caring for pets. Hayden would take excellent care of your pet!”

Mikayla D.
“Mikayla is one of the most caring and compassionate people I've ever had the pleasure of knowing! She hasn't watched any pups for me BUT she does so well with all of my cats - even the moody calico! (The calico LOVES her) Mikayla truly loves all of the animals and people she comes across, and I would recommend her to ANYONE looking for a pet sitter or dog walker.”
