About: I have provided care for many pets from my former teachers, neighbors, family and word of mouth. Both my pets have lived to be seniors and watched senior pets as well. I worked at an animal hospital for about 2 years before moving to this area. I am familiar with giving medications and following instructions on feeding due to allergies and stomach concerns in dogs. I am experienced with reactive dogs and protective dogs when entering the home. I am mostly able to do daily check ins in morning-midday. My work schedule varies, so just ask I can try to work something out! I will meet or chat with you prior to meeting your pup or cat and learn there favorite snacks, toys and walk routes. I want then to be comfortable with me.

About: I've grown up around and have had lots of dogs throughout my life. I've had experience caring for all kinds of dogs big and small. I can also manage multiple dogs at once, and can give each pup tons of attention and love. I have a very open schedule both weekdays and weekends. I'm home from college right now, staying with my parents, and have my own car for any transportation. I live in a neighborhood with a large dog park, and plenty of trees and bushes to sniff. If necessary I have a medium-large sized crate.

I’m currently in grad school at UVA with classes only two days a week, and even then, they’re never longer than a few hours at a time. This means I’m available every day and can easily build pet care into my daily routine. Whether it’s morning walks, midday drop-ins, or overnight stays, I have the flexibility to provide consistent and attentive care. I care for pets by giving them lots of attention, love, and activity. Whether I’m in my home or the client’s, I make sure pets get plenty of time to play, go on walks, or just hang out and relax depending on what they need. I try to stick to their normal routine as much as possible, like feeding times and bathroom breaks, and I always make sure they feel safe and comfortable. Staying active with them through walks, fetch, or just playing around, is one of the main ways I show care and build trust.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs my whole life and all other farm animals. I worked at hunt kennels with 60-70 hounds everyday, vet tech, brought along young puppy’s, I’ve done it all, I’m a very active person and enjoy just getting out with dogs. About: I have taken care of all kinds of animals of my own, other family members and friends most of my life. I have loved and taken care of all kinds of dogs, cats, fish, small cages animals, reptiles, chickens, ducks, goats, and horses. In my past I have worked at a vets office as kennel help and at Pampered pets boarding facility. I’m currently a stay at home mom and a part time Instacart shopper. I would be able to give your pup some love and take out for walks during the time you are away at work or on vacation. I’m available during the week while my son will be in school and on the weekends if needed. I have a fenced in area and two friendly pups that would keep your fur baby happy and safe. I also can crate them if needed.

About: New to Rover, but not to pet care :) I grew up with animals great and small. I've had dogs of all sizes, cats, horses, snakes, mice, chickens, and one skunk. All of my dogs are rescues, so I'm no stranger to reactive dog care and I'm well-versed in positive reinforcement training styles. I love all animals, but I've got a real soft spot for the senior babies. I recently lost my own 16 year old pittie, so I'm comfy in a space that may require a little extra effort. I'm a weightlifter in my free time, so I can easily help any size senior with any mobility issues 💜 I'm starting on Rover after losing my 13 year career in analysis to federal funding issues. My schedule is quite flexible and free, though I do have to be home at night to care for my own four-legged family members While I'd love to offer care in my home, I do have my own pets and introducing new babies to the mix can be stressful for all involved. In your home, I will love on your fur babies as if they were my own. They'll have a cuddle buddy (if they choose), engaging playtime, and treats (if you choose). I also spend quite a lot of time at the gym I own in downtown Charlottesville, so if you'd be comfortable with field trips, I'd happily take them out for some extra socialization.
