About: I am very experienced with animal caretaking as I have had pets my entire time growing up. I have a 1 and a half year old golden retriever/lab mix with a lot of energy. I will graduate from the University of South Alabama in December of 2024 with a bachelor's in social work. I’ve cared for everything from dogs and cats to pigs and birds, so I’m no stranger to all kinds of furry (and feathery) friends! I worked as a veterinary assistant and vet tech for several years, so I’m comfortable handling pets with special needs, administering medications, and recognizing signs of distress. While I couldn’t bring my own pets with me when I moved to Georgia in 2017, I’ve stayed close to animals through walking, pet-sitting, and helping friends and neighbors care for theirs. I’m currently balancing work and returning to school, and I love staying active with walks and hikes, making dog walking a perfect fit for my lifestyle. About: I’ve been raised with many dogs growing up along with taking care of family friends dogs. I’ve also raised a Crested Gecko along with two mice I love all animals ! I attend College so I would be free through the weeks starting Friday through Sunday for any Dog service needs! Ideally my schedule is packed up through the week. About: This is my first time using Rover! I have helped care for four family dogs, two tarantulas and many cats over the years. I can follow special directions if needed. I am available all day most days as I don’t work part time at the moment. I love all animals and promise to treat your dog as if they were my own! I am currently in college and working part time, but my mornings until 12pm are always free Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. If you need me to drop by any other day we can figure it out!! Because I work part time my schedule changes every week so I may be free on the weekend and I am free after 7pm most days, it just depends. I currently live in an apartment with roommates so I can’t board any animals. I live with my cat named Sprinkles who is almost a year old now. :)

About: Pets have always been apart of my life! I grew up with a variety of breeds of dogs. I have even had a few pet birds! As a teenager & young adult, pet sitting has been a frequent side gig of mine that has brought me joy and a way to help support my growing family. I am a stay at home mom so my schedule can be very flexible. I am home the majority of the time and able to give your pet lots of attention and love. I would love to make your needs work around my schedule! I have a large backyard that is fully fenced. For your pets safety, they will always be supervised and not left alone outside or be exposed to extreme heat or cold. I take daily walks with my children and your pet, always leashed for safety.  I keep a large crate with comfortable bedding for sleeping. I do have 2 toddlers who adore animals & the entertainment that often comes along with them. Because of this, I can only accept pets that are known to be good with children.

About: I do not have experience outside of my own family's pet care, but animals bring me happiness and a sense of purpose. I treat ALL cats and dogs as if they were my own, which can bring you peace and comfort in knowing that your fur baby/babies are in loving hands. I have had my own babies since 2008. I currently work 4 days/wk, which will allow me to check in, feed/water, play, or walk your fur kids whenever I am needed outside of those days. I do not own my own home, but puppies that are less than 6 months may be acceptable. I do not stay overnight elsewhere. However, I am happy to spend extended time with your pets.

About: I’ve grown up around pets for most of my life, my family always had at least one dog and multiple cats around, as well as exotic ones like birds. As such I was raised to love and care for pets, and currently my family has a dog and 4 cats, and I myself have a tarantula in my personal care. I’m a full time student taking 16 credit hours, but my classes have multiple hours between them, so I’m able to leave campus and visit clients homes to ensure everyone is doing ok and make sure they get the care and attention they deserve :) For all pets I keep them within my sight and paying attention to what they’re doing to make sure everything is going ok, while working on the homework for school that I’ve been assigned very close by. But I make sure that dogs would get exercise every day or more if desired, and that cats receive plenty of affection as well.

We have found that dogs can become over stimulated, or grow agitated when allowed to interact with a pack more than that. Ideally 2x a week is best for a well socialized dog. However, we understand there may be a need to come everyday, for say a week while your getting your kitchen redone, or your in laws are in town and your showing them the sites. We can handle that too. You don’t have to have a package for daycare or for your dog to come and play for the day. PET SITTING We will come to your home up to three times a day for 30 minutes to care for your your pets. This is perfect for weekend warriors or short get-aways. DOG WALKING We offer three monthly packages for those who are seeking ongoing service. You’re not obligated to purchase the monthly packages. However, they do offer discounts to those who make use of them. You can purchase up to 90 visits a month. The Rover app allows you to see our arrival & departure times and the routes we walk. We also send pics and updates of how the walk went. We only walk up to two dogs at a time. About: I have plenty of experience when it comes to caring for dogs, especially big dogs (as a great dane owner). Feeding, walking, cleaning up after them, and even training them. Taking care of multiple pets at a time is no problem! I am currently a college student who only has classes in the mornings so my afternoons and nights are free. If needed, I am available to wake up early before my classes to care for your pets. I will ensure that all animals are accounted for and taken care of. I will make sure all doors are shut and everything is in order. It’s very important to keep anything dangerous out of site and stay alert while caring for animals.

About: I grew up with two dogs ( German shepherd, pitbull) and a cat, and have had two cats for the last 3+ years. I have house sit for my family and roommates on numerous occasions throughout my life. I work a constant 3 weeks on and 3 weeks off in my career, so I have a rigid, consistent and professional availability to you as a pet sitter. About: I've had the opportunity to take care of many different pets in different stages of their lives; I've dog sat in the past for older dogs that needed medical care (ex: medicated eye drops, teeth brushed etc.) and younger dogs that have needed all of their energy ran out of them! Just because your pet needs things done in a particular or special way doesn't mean they're more of a hassle! I own two dogs that I spend most of my day with: Bandit and Roscoe. I make sure to take time out of my day to ensure that they get the most amount of play possible! This means plenty of outside time with toys, playing tug, and even when it's raining I make sure to stimulate them with some mind games. My life revolves around my pets, and I realize this is the same for many other pet parents. I will devote just as much time to your pets as I do with my own! I understand that pets have their own way of communicating to us, and I make sure to look for any signs of discomfort/uneasiness in any pets that I look after. Communication with the owner is the most important aspect of pet-sitting, and I make sure to always send pictures and updates of the pet while the owner is away. The safety of the animals that I am trusted to look after is very important to me.
