About: I know how important it is to feel confident that your dog is in good hands. As someone who has always been organized and attentive, I make sure to follow your instructions closely and care for your pet just as you would at home. Over the years I've learned a lot from my own dogs; from giving careful medication to my beagle-mix with seizures, to all the patience and love my senior pug needed in his golden years. Now, I'm caring for a sweet (but sometimes nervous) chihuahua, so I truly understand the little things that can help shy or anxious pets feel comfortable. I only take one dog at a time, ensuring your pup won't feel overwhelmed or overlooked, and I can send you lots of pics and updates about their stay. My large, fenced yard is perfect for safe play, and if your pup loves to lounge on the couch or snuggle in bed, that's more than welcome - unless you'd rather keep furniture off limits, of course. My family has loved every moment spent with the dogs in our care, and we truly look forward to meeting you and your fur baby. It’s a joy to share this experience! I am a former stay at home mom that’s now an almost empty nester. My schedule is extremely flexible so I have plenty of time to devote to your pups well being. As a homeowner myself, I understand the responsibilities involved in taking good care of your pet AND your home. If you hire me for drop ins or for house/petsitting, you will come home to things just as they should be.

Her flexibility was great. I gave her the run about cricket and her being dog reactive and Rachel ensured me that she would make sure Cricket would not interact with other dogs. When I picked her up Rachel was ready with her and gave me an entire summary of how cricket did and how she adjusted to a new environment. I have hands-on experience with administering medications and caring for pets with medical conditions — including my own dog, who required special attention after surgery and while healing from a broken leg. As a registered nurse, I work three days a week and only accept pet care bookings on my days off to ensure your pet gets my full, undivided attention. When I’m with your pet, they’re my top priority — whether that means walks, playtime, medication, or just lots of love and cuddles. I plan my schedule carefully so I can give each pet the dedicated care they deserve. I live in a quiet, pet-friendly neighborhood with plenty of space for safe, enjoyable walks and outdoor play. While my yard is not fenced in, all outdoor time is fully supervised to ensure your pet’s safety. Inside, my spacious three-story home gives pets plenty of room to explore and relax. I use baby gates to safely manage movement between floors and create secure areas for rest or play. I do not accept aggressive pets, as safety and comfort—for both your pet and mine—are my top priorities. Your pet will be in a calm, loving environment where they can feel right at home.

About: I have taken care of several of my neighbors dogs while they are out on vacation or away for the day. I am very careful about making sure your pet is loved and cared for while you are away for the day or on vacation. I am currently working from home and able to take care of you little fur babies while you are away from home. I can check on them if need be or they can be dropped off at my home where they can be loved on by my children and by me while your away. I have 3 friendly dogs and if need be I can keep your dog in a crate. I give them plenty of water, food and exercise. I do not have a fence in yard but I do take them for walks and to the dog park so they can run freely to get some exercise. I occasionally make my own pup cup with whip cream for a nice refreshing snack. I do make your fury babies feel part of the family at all cost.

About: All pets are always treated as family members. They have access to the entire house, sleep in the bed and go outside anytime they want. My schedule is very flexible as I work from home. I do spend a lot of time outside with them and taking them for walk to get their exercise. I also send pictures and video throughout the stay so you can enjoy your vacation. I have a fenced yard, pool and trampoline where all pets can enjoy their day. I also have 4 dogs so they will have a playmates.

About: I live in Mooresville but I'm originally from New York. I love dogs big and small. I have a black lab mix at home. Must love kids I have a toddler and an 8 year old at home with me. I'm experienced working in a pet salon. I'm willing to provide nail care, brushing, bathing at additional fees, and lots of play time during their stay with me. I have a large fenced in yard for running and playing. Plenty of dog toys. I'm available for walks and drop ins as well. I'm really flexible with scheduling, your pet will be adored in this house and if your pet needs to stay over night that's ok I have extra dog beds available. I can even text pictures while you are away as well. I am work from home mom with time to care for your pets as my own. Aside from school pickups and drop offs I am with your pets the rest of the day. :) Please bring a bed for your pet, i do require them to be crated at night. We will have multiple trips out in our 1 acre fenced in back yard for them to play and roam around.

About: We watch our friend’s elderly dog when they go out of town. He’s basically part of our family. He gets along great with our son and cats. I’m a stay at home mom so pet care is something I can do easily as I spend the vast majority my day at home. We have a fenced in backyard. It is also shaded and there is nothing dangerous that pets can get into. We enjoy a lived in home that’s comfortable so we don’t have many breakable precious items.

About: I’ve worked at a service dog nonprofit for the past decade and I’ve been a pet owner my whole life! Currently, we have a 4-year old Australian Cattle Dog mix and a 1-year old tabby cat. I know how stressful it can be leaving your fur babies when going on vacation/work but I’m happy to help! I will care for your pets with the same love and attention that I give my own. I have also completed training by the Fear Free Shelter Program. Conveniently, I work remotely (full time) so I am always at home to keep an eye on and care for your fur baby. On weekends, I leave the home briefly to run errands. I have a small fenced yard. Our two pets can provide company to your visiting fur baby. I am also available for daily walks. Ideally, your visiting pet will be crated at night while sleeping and if I ever have to leave the home briefly.

About: I’ve loved animals my whole life and now that I’m retired and spending time with my grandkids I would like some extra animals in my life! I’m currently providing some help to my daughter transporting kids to and from school and just loving my grandkid time! I’m mostly free and have a very flexible schedule! I have a fenced yard and a park nearby - I do have two sweet Pomeranians of my own who mainly stick to themselves - they aren’t usually interested in a lot of interaction with other dogs. About: I have been a dog mom to multiple dogs since I was 25. That’s over 25 years of having my own fur family! In my 30s I worked closely with the Durham Nc SPCA to foster pit mix dogs that could not be adopted. I kept them safe and loved and helped to socialize them for private adoption. Rescuing animals has always been my personal mission … while officially fostering I also had the pleasure to love many lost and abandoned animals that would find their way onto my farm. We recently purchased a mini farm in Mooresville (28115) that we share with our 6 Airedale terriers and 4 pugs from the ages of 4-9 years old. We have designed our farm with several different fenced in yards and spaces for our visiting pets to feel safe but still get to be active. Our home has been designed to offer an indoor activity space as well private suits for each visiting pup. We limit the amount of boards and babies that we allow into our day care in order to give that VIP service to all babies at the farm. We also offer pick up and drop off options! Needless to say, I’m an animal lover who would love to help you feel comfortable stepping away from your home if even for a moment! I am lucky enough to own my own business and my role allows me the flexibility to step away when needed. A lot of my role within the company is on a computer making working from remote locations the perfect scenario for babysitting your fur babies! Making sure that your baby feels like I am a new friend coming to play with them while their parents away is key! Pets thrive in a non changing environment so quickly building that relationship is my number one goal!

You can expect no less from us when we are taking care of your pet. We treat them like royalty and they love every drop of it. My schedule is fairly open and flexible. I work from home so majority of the time when pets are with me they get attention the entire time. We tend to ask that dogs that are staying with us be crate trained, but special situations such as puppies who are still learning would be ok. If we do get puppies they will receive continued reinforcements of their training (commands, crate training, house training) while they are with us.
