“Paul did an awesome job taking care of our elderly dog. It was difficult to leave her with a new dog sitter (our usual sitter got a new job) but after meeting Paul and seeing that Rheyah was immediately comfortable with him, we felt confident that he would take good care of her. Paul made sure that Rheyah took her medicine multiple times per day, fed her a special diet and even gave her a partial bath every other night to treat her chronic skin condition. He also took her for 2 walks per day when the weather permitted. Paul’s frequent photos and descriptions of what he and Rheyah were doing helped to calm my anxiety about leaving her with someone new. Not only did Paul take care of Rheyah, but he also fed my fish and managed to keep my not-so-healthy plants alive! We are very grateful that Paul’s profile came up on Rover and that he agreed to take care of Rheyah so that we could attend our granddaughter’s 1st birthday. We highly recommend Paul to anyone who needs a conscientious caring pet sitter!”

“We cannot thank Cody enough for taking such great care of Archie while we were away for the weekend. She was very communicative throughout her stay. She took care of unexpected extras while staying at our home as well, which was very much appreciated. We will definitely book her again.”

“Christa was great! Super easy to work with, great communication, genuine affection for my animals, and the house was in great shape when I returned! Definitely recommend!”

“Cheryl took very good care of our dog while we were gone. She gave me updates on how she was doing and what time she got her meds. She even asked if there was anything else we needed her to do while she was here. We will definitely be using her services again!”

“Faith and Bruno are best buds! 🥰. He may not like to see us go but he sure is happy to spend time with Faith! That alone makes Faith the best dog sitter we could possibly have. But on top of that she takes very good care of Bruno. He’s always so well groomed, relaxed and happy when we come home. We can tell by his demeanor he was given a lot of attention. 😍. The house is always spotless when we come home. And Faith is very good on daily reports, letting us know how Bruno is doing and any questions that may come up. And we get lots of photos! Excellent excellent excellent job!!! 🤩”

“Adrianne was a great pet sitter. She confirmed quickly and set up a meet and greet. My Cavapoo gave her hugs and kisses as soon as she arrived. He likes longer walks and she was awesome to explore nearby trails and parks with him. Adrianne is personable and professional.”

“Emma was AMAZING! 3 Great Danes and she handled their clumsy-ness and lap dog tenancies without a hitch. My stupid dogs ran off to the neighbors house and had an incident with the neighbor dog. She handled the situation perfectly and kept my dogs, the neighbor and their dog, and myself feeling safe about the incident the rest of booking. When I got home and apologized again to my neighbor, they said that Emma did great the whole time and were impressed with the way she handled things. 10/10 would recommend Emma!!”

“Thank you so much for watching Bowey! We truly appreciate you taking such good care of him! Also it was super helpful when our trip got extended and you were able to watch him a few extra days! We will definitely be in touch for future stays!”

“Heather was so sweet and understood our animals are our family. She sent pictures throughout her stay which really put my mind at ease. We will book Heather again for the future!!”

About: I’ve always had animals growing up! I’ve done in-house pet sitting for years. I’ve taken care of dogs as big as mastiffs to puppies. I have also done in home sitting for cats and horses as well! We have two dogs in our home and 1 cat. I am able to do house sitting depending on my husbands schedule. During the fall especially October and November I am usually gone on the weekends for deer hunting. My husband would be home and available for boarding during that time! I am currently working full time during the week 7:30-4. My husband works from home on Wednesdays and Fridays as well and is able to assist with your pets needs! I am available weekdays before and after work. Drop off/Pick up on Monday, Tuesday and Thursdays must be after 4:30 as we are both in the office those days. On Wednesday and Friday's my husband Charlie works from home and is available all day for drop off/pick up. I am also available weekends for all your animals needs! I currently have a 6 year old female lab, a 4 month old puppy, 1 cat and a horse. Growing up I have had experience with many types of dog breeds and cats! I also have experience with giving pets oral medications.

About: I’ve grown up with big dogs my entire life. I’m not afraid of any dog and am willing to accommodate to any of their needs since both of my dogs currently require individual care for their medical needs! I’m currently working part time so I have plenty of time to care for your pups!! Weekends I am also pretty free since I’m not in school currently and off for the summer! I have 2 dogs myself and I get up with them in the mornings, let them out, feed them, and play with them every morning. I usually then in the afternoon take them out again for an afternoon potty break and play with them outside again. Finally, around 5, I will feed both of them and take them on a nightly walk. I also love to cuddle with my dogs at home and give them lots of treats!!

About: Hi! My name is Chloe and I have been working with dogs for 3 years now. I worked at a dog grooming/daycare business for a little over a year. I can bathe any kind of dog!! I am currently working at a dog boarding facility called dawgs in motion, I have been there for almost 2 years now. But I want to get closer with your pet! I want to be able to focus more on just your dog's needs during the day. I am able to administer medications of any kind for your pet and I can do insulin. I am certified in the animal Red Cross first aid. I have been able to use my knowledge many times on many different dogs. I know how to break up altercations and I have been learning dog body language through Dog Guru. I can also be calm in stressful situations. I am going to be going through Animal Behavior College to also become a dog trainer! I am currently working full time but if things go well with rover I plan to move back into part time! I am free every Thursday and almost every morning. I am not as free during the nights because I have the night shifts but we could still work something out! I am going to move out later this year and when I do then you can bring your dog over to my place to hang out! But until then I can come over to yours and watch your pup! I am able to clean up any messes your dog makes! Nothing really grosses me out. I am able to crate your dog if needed/wanted. I can also administer medications and administer insulin. If your pup gets hurt I am here to make them better! I am certified in animal pet first aid with Red Cross.

Lori also grew up with a golden retriever and had another before Daisy as well, along with dog sitting for the neighbors’ 3 golden retrievers, so she’s become quite the expert on caring for and loving dogs.”
Mayfield pet parents share their Rover experiences
There are not enough words to express our appreciation for Cheryl! We are a family that enjoys vacationing, but want to pamper our dogs and give them the best life possible. Unfortunately, as our pups got older we realized that taking them on our vacations only stressed them out more and made the experience for all less than enjoyable. Enter Cheryl. She has been a literal God Send. She takes the time to update daily and send pictures and I know our pups are so well taken care of. This last trip Cheryl was only supposed to feed the pups their dinner meal and we would be arriving shortly after. Unfortunately, weather caused our trip to be delayed. Cheryl was more than willing to stop back at the house and get the dogs settled for the night and give them company. It means so much to us to have met Cheryl and she gives us great peace of mind! Plus, our dogs love her too! So glad she is part of our village!
