About: I have had dogs my entire life and am skilled at basic training, grooming, and I love to walk pups! Fur babies are my life & I'll treat your pup like family! I currently work from home with a very flexible schedule so I could be available anytime to check in on your animals. I am more than willing to take your pup for a walk as well and provide many updates & pictures! I treat every pet like part of my family. Since I work from home, I am able to provide plenty of attention, companionship, walks, and playtime throughout the day. I will follow each pets normal routine as closely as possible, including feeding schedules, medications, and special instructions.
About: I have grown up around so many animals such as dogs, cats, livestock, fish and hamsters! I’ve learned how to take proper care of and give them the life they deserve and more. I do then work full time monday- friday 10-12 hour days, but weekends and some weekdays i’m available and all for playing with puppies and any other animals! At home I do not have a fenced in yard and my dogs know the commands and know where they’re allowed to go and where they’re not allowed to go. At a clients house I will accommodate any needs their pets may have or continue with the animals routines as close as I can!

About: Im am the proud owner of two fur babies. My oldest cat is 11 years old, I've had him since he was 4 months old. I believe he chose me. I adopted him when i was going through a personal lost and he brought me so much joy. My second fur baby was adopted at 2 months old when her mom abandoned her, as she assumed she would never make it in the world but my sweet girl is now 4 years old and thriving. I stand out from other pet sitters because not only have a had cats for years but with my family & I have had fish, turtles, doves, parakeets, dogs( Great Dane, Terrier, chihuahua), and a Guinea pig. I believe it gives me a variety of experience above a-lot of others. My pets have been in my family for their entire lives and I believe pets are truly apart of the family and should be adored as such! I am awoken daily by my two lovely cats. I start my day by opening the blinds and curtains so my babies can sun bathe. Then i head to the bathroom the clean their litter box. Next comes their feedings. My cats are what you can considered spoiled lol. they have a filtered water fountain, and two different food bowls EACH (one for dry food and one for wet). My day begins and ends with checking on them. I don't not have a fenced in yard because I live in an apartment, but we have designated restroom areas for pets. So, I will need a harness/leash to take them out. I allow my pets on my furniture so your pets would be allowed on my furniture as well.

About: Hello! My name is Tabatha Garman, I am the sole owner and operator of Special Paws Pet Care and a Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT). As a veterinary technician, I play the nurse role of the veterinary team. I graduated from Kent State University with my Associate's degree in Veterinary Technology in May of 2021 and am currently pursuing my Bachelor's of Integrated Studies focused in animal behavior. While in school for my technician license, I gained various hands-on skills with a variety of animals, from dogs and cats to birds, horses, snakes, and much more. Outside of school, I have trained at numerous veterinary hospitals and gained vital experience in CPR and emergency response. My personal experience caring for animals expands far beyond my education and career, as I have cared for my own, family's, and friend's pets my entire life. As previously mentioned, I have a vast range of experience with different species from small pocket pets and reptiles to large and farm animals. I love working with nearly any species, especially pigs and cows! My medication administration skills are just as vast, including giving various types of injections and fluids, oral pill and liquid administration, topical applications, etc. Any pets with special needs are assured to be taken care of! Specializing in animal behavior, those with unique personalities or who are a bit grumpy or naturally prefer alone time are some of my favorite to work with. I love working to understand them and win them over and am happy to try to work with any type of disposition or behavioral challenges. No job is too big or small. I am currently dedicating my time to in-home pet care while going to school full-time online, so I am free to fit your pet into my schedule however you may need. While I do personalize my schedule to fit your pet specifically, my typical day is scheduled like this and changed as needed, just to give you a better idea of your pet's time with me: When I arrive, I always spend time making sure your pet is happy, comfortable, and has everything they need. When staying with them overnight, I will keep them company until morning, make sure they have everything they need and get some pets or playtime in, then I will leave as needed to tend to any other appointments, making sure to return to check-in and spend time with them at minimum every 3-4 hours, unless more frequently is needed. Whether you just need a daily check in and play time for your cat while you're away, or if you need someone to take your pup out every couple of hours along with walks and lots of play time, or even if you have an older pup who can't really spend time alone at all, we can definitely make a plan to suit your family purrr-fectly. Your pet's safety is always my top priority. Whether at home, in the car, at the vet, out for a walk, or at the park, I am always extremely diligent to make sure your pet stays safe and sound. I always use doggy seatbelts or enclosures when driving, reflective strips and flashlights at night, ramps and manual assistance for mobility-challenged pups, predator-deterrent to protect them from harm, and vet-approved chews or boredom busters to make sure your pup is happier and healthier when you arrive back home. Out of an abundance of caution, I typically do not have pets I'm watching interact with other pets I'm unfamiliar with (ie: no communal dog parks). In the case that anything does happen while I am with them, I am trained on the safest and most effective way to stop a dog fight, as well as being trained in CPR, emergency triage and response, and homeostatic stabilization. I also always have a list of the nearest emergency hospitals on hand should they ever be needed. I strive to follow all pet-parent's wants and needs for their pets, including whatever training or rules you may have for your pet while they are in my care (crating, treats, toys, etc). Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement walker.
