About: I have been taking care of all kinds of animals from dogs and cats to birds and horses since I was a young girl. My neighbors have trusted me with pet care for years. I most recently have been working for a pet sitting company in North Carolina before moving to Virginia and received multiple five star reviews. I can assure you your pets will be well taken care of as I treat them as they are my own. I currently have a full time job with two to three full days off and lots of flexibility during the mornings and late evenings to stop in and do visits. I care for pets in my client’s home and I treat them as my own by making sure they get plenty of attention and playtime. About: I've taken care of pets for nearly 20 years. Neighbors, family, friends, and coworkers have trusted me with their pets care. My 2 dogs and 4 cats are my entire world. They are truly members of your family. I've always been told when i bought my own house, i'd have a zoo. I bought my first house in 2023 and the number of animals keeps growing! (lol) I work in the veterinary field and am going to school to become a veterinary technician! I believe animals are family and will treat your fur babies with the same love and care as my own 6 at home! I am currently working as a full time veterinary assistant and am in school full time to be a veterinary technician; but can make an exception for fur babies! I am free early mornings, evenings, and weekends! I work in the veterinary field, I have knowledge of the following: Feeding strict diets to dogs and cats. Shy, or feral kittens. Caring for kittens and puppies Special needs pets Wild child cats or dogs (you should meet my pets) I've worked in two veterinary clinics, to include a boarding facility. I keep my routine simple and steady, and I’m usually around in the mornings and early afternoons before heading into work. I’m not someone who’s constantly on the go or juggling a million commitments—my life is more grounded in work, home, and taking care of my pets. That balance gives me a lot of consistency and time to focus on what matters day to day. I take safety and trust seriously when it comes to animals and their environment. In the past, I’ve crate-trained my dogs and learned how to create calm, structured routines that help them feel secure and well-behaved. I’m comfortable setting boundaries in a gentle but consistent way, depending on the needs of each pet. My home is also very pet-safe, especially because my current cat is extremely curious and determined to investigate everything. I’ve adapted my space to keep hazards out of reach and ensure it’s a safe, enriched environment where pets can explore without getting into trouble. I pay close attention to what they can access and how they interact with their surroundings, so safety is always built into the way I live with animals. 🐾
