About: I’ve grown up with animals of all kinds and have learned how to best care for them. I have experience with house sitting, dog walking, and more. I love animals and can’t wait to meet yours! :) I am currently working part time at an internship Monday-Wednesday from 8-4:30. After that I have as much time as I need to take care of your pets and mine (a pair of rats!). My schedule is consistent for the most part, and I’m very flexible with scheduling, I want to ensure you leave feeling comfortable and taken care of! Any petting sitting will take place at the client’s home, as I don’t currently have adequate space to board at mine. I’ll follow any special instructions left for me and take care of them normally: food, water, bathroom, play time/walks, you name it and I can do it!

About: I have always had a connection with animals. I wasn't able to get my first pet until I was 10 and it was a guinea pig...fast forward 22 years and that connection and passion for animals has not changed. I worked as a veterinary technician for 6 years including school, most of which was in Maine. I no longer work as a technician but still love to fill my time with taking care of people's pets. I currently have a pretty open schedule. The only reason I would not be able to do certain days would be due to medical appointments or family obligations. When I care for your pet I will be able to spend as much time playing, walking, relaxing. Whatever you and they may want or need. I am able to give medication including insulin and fluids.

About: I have always loved dogs. In 2021, I adopted a German shepherd and joined a training group. Practicing and training with my own dog every day led to me developing a passion for walking and working with dogs. Since then, I have walked many dogs, including structured walks where we practice heel, sit, place, and other basic commands. I also have experience assisting my trainer with client lessons and dog sat overnight for a home with multiple dogs. I have experience with large dogs, and could also help them to practice walking nicely on a leash. I have worked with and walked small, medium, and large dogs, and even a very large dog. I truly care that dogs get enough mental and physical stimulation so that they can live their happiest lives. Even in rainy weather, I enjoy taking out my dog. I’d love to help more dogs get more walks and sniffs in! I have also dropped in to care for friends’ cats and am comfortable providing cat care drop ins as well. I have a fresh water aquarium at home and could feed fish too! I am a freelance writer with a flexible schedule. Currently, I prefer to walk dogs during the day or in the afternoon, but I could work with other times. I would be available to walk dogs or drop in Mondays through Fridays and some Saturdays. When pet sitting in the past, I have used a lock box to access a key and returned the key to the box upon leaving the home. Depending on your animals schedules and your requirements I will feed them and walk them bright and early make sure they got all the early morning energy out before I’d need to head out to work. Will clean up any mess if any was made in the process. After work I will go straight to check on the animal and do the same as in the morning feed, walk and play. If your pet is taking medication I will make sure to give it the right amount and at the right time. If you don’t have a fenced in yard I will also make sure I leash them can never be too safe.
