About: I have always loved dogs. In 2021, I adopted a German shepherd and joined a training group. Practicing and training with my own dog every day led to me developing a passion for walking and working with dogs. Since then, I have walked many dogs, including structured walks where we practice heel, sit, place, and other basic commands. I also have experience assisting my trainer with client lessons and dog sat overnight for a home with multiple dogs. I have experience with large dogs, and could also help them to practice walking nicely on a leash. I have worked with and walked small, medium, and large dogs, and even a very large dog. I truly care that dogs get enough mental and physical stimulation so that they can live their happiest lives. Even in rainy weather, I enjoy taking out my dog. I’d love to help more dogs get more walks and sniffs in! I have also dropped in to care for friends’ cats and am comfortable providing cat care drop ins as well. I have a fresh water aquarium at home and could feed fish too! I am a freelance writer with a flexible schedule. Currently, I prefer to walk dogs during the day or in the afternoon, but I could work with other times. I would be available to walk dogs or drop in Mondays through Fridays and some Saturdays. I’m willing to work with you! I am very respectful of others’ homes and their rules for their pets. When pet sitting in the past, I have used a lock box to access a key and returned the key to the box upon leaving the home. I am also familiar with crate training and can follow instructions for how you’d like your dog to be greeted and let out. I am able to drop in to let your dog out to the bathroom, either in your fenced in yard or on a leash. I am also available for walks, taking dogs to the park, playing, or practicing training.

About: I have always had a connection with animals. I wasn't able to get my first pet until I was 10 and it was a guinea pig...fast forward 22 years and that connection and passion for animals has not changed. I worked as a veterinary technician for 6 years including school, most of which was in Maine. I no longer work as a technician but still love to fill my time with taking care of people's pets. I currently have a pretty open schedule. The only reason I would not be able to do certain days would be due to medical appointments or family obligations. When I care for your pet I will be able to spend as much time playing, walking, relaxing. Whatever you and they may want or need. I am able to give medication including insulin and fluids.

About: I graduated with my associate in Veterinary technology in 2022. I have taken care of and worked with all breeds of dogs and cats. I’ll give all of them the same love and care as I give my own. I am currently working full time 8-5. Depending on your animals schedules and your requirements I will feed them and walk them bright and early make sure they got all the early morning energy out before I’d need to head out to work. Will clean up any mess if any was made in the process. After work I will go straight to check on the animal and do the same as in the morning feed, walk and play. If your pet is taking medication I will make sure to give it the right amount and at the right time. If you don’t have a fenced in yard I will also make sure I leash them can never be too safe.

About: I have been an animal lover since I was young child. I even save bugs stuck inside! I have lifelong experience providing care to all sorts of pets including rodents, dogs and cats, both inside and outside. I have very strong beliefs about taking care of animals. I feel we are blessed to have animals in our lives and should treat them with love and dignity. I highly value kindness and compassion towards humans and animals alike. I am a very patient and loving person. I enjoy spreading that love and patience to all animals. I have owned 2 dogs, both of which with severe anxiety and leash reactivity. I met with a dog trainer and learned specific ways to help dogs dealing with those. I love to be outside and walk, especially with a dog. Exercise is so important to animals. I would adore getting to know your pets! I will give them all the snuggles they deserve! During the summer, I am available almost all of the time, even on the weekends. I am a teacher so, once school starts back in the fall, I will still be an active pet-care giver, but unfortunately my schedule will change. I am not able, at this time, to care for pets at my own home. I am MORE than happy to come to your home, walk your dog, and feed and give water to your pets.

About: I LOVE dogs and cats! Growing up, my family always had big dogs and fluffy cats around the house; so throughout my life I have gained experience caring for puppies all the way up to seniors. I adore dogs of all sizes, but big dogs will always have a special place in my heart. We owned a Rottie/Lab mix, a Great Dane, an English Mastiff, Boxer, and various Doodle breeds. We also had 3 Ragdoll cats. I currently have 3 Domestic Short and Long haired cats of my own with my fiancé and I love them dearly; but I really miss having a dog around the house. Helping people care for pets on Wag seemed like the perfect way to help me hang with pups! I frequently assist my friends and family with pet sitting, dog walking, and caring for their animals while they are away. Outside of animals, I work for The Department of State as a Legal Assistant and sit for 8 hours a day at a desk. Taking a dog on a nice walk or having a play session with pets sounds like a very pleasant way for me spend my time after sitting in an office all day. I also love to read, cook/bake, do yoga, play video games, and play softball on my women’s community team! I’m currently working a full time office job from 7:30am to 4:00pm, so I can be available on weekdays any time after 4:30pm or early in the morning . I can be available anytime on weekends with enough notice to plan. As much as I would love to help people board their pets, I can’t given the size of my apartment. My home is just for me and my cats :)

I now work full‑time for the state, but pet care remains one of my favorite parts of life — and I’d love to help care for your fur babies. I’m currently working full‑time, so as of right now, I am only available for in-house sitting on the weekends. I am available for weekday check-ins/walks anytime after 3 pm, and anytime during my available weekends. I only provide care in my clients’ homes, where pets feel safest and most relaxed. I stick closely to your feeding, potty, and routine schedules, and I’m happy to accommodate any special instructions or quirks your pet may have. My goal is to maintain your pet’s normal rhythm and create a calm, secure environment while you’re gone.

I’m not able to provide boarding because of my sweet baby, however, I am able to walk, drop in, or stay overnight! To provide the upmost care for your pets, I can ensure they have a consistent routine that includes potty breaks every 2 hours, access to fresh water and food, a safe environment, and plenty of attention and play time! I also will maintain open communication with you regarding any concerns or changes in your pets behavior. I’m currently in online school for my Medical Assistant (MA) license, which gives me a very flexible and open schedule. This allows me to dedicate plenty of time and attention to your pets throughout the day, including walks, drop-ins, and extended care when needed. Your pet’s safety and comfort are always my top priorities. I create a calm, secure environment and closely follow your instructions to maintain their normal routine. I’m attentive to behavior changes, careful with leash and home safety, and always respectful of your space.
