“Morgan is my go-to girl! She always takes great care of my Milo. She problem solves when needed and always keeps me in the loop. She’s reliable, amiable, and kind. 10/10!”

“This was our second time using Alison and she was wonderful! She always sends multiple photos and gives updates while we are gone. When she is watching the pets, I can truly relax knowing that they are being taken care of. Highly recommend!”

About: I have ample room and time to love on your fur babies!! I currently do not have any dogs but love them all! I also have a basement with a separate gate if your pet needs space by itself. I live close to the mountains so if you want to take the day to hike/explore sperryville I am your go to:) I work from home and love my animals!! I am fortunate to have the flexibility to take care of my farm animals and others when needed. I own a small farm with plenty of space for walking and also have a fenced in garden than I can use during the colder months for secure play for dogs.

“The dogs loved seeing Amanda! She played with them, fed them, took pictures of them and kept us updated. She did not hesitate to reach out to us when we told her to put Chip in his crate but then did not leave his crate out. We also appreciate the detailed review that she left. Thanks!!!!!!”

“Kathrine is such a great relief in this area! I had a last minute need and she was so wonderful about helping out ❤️ She’s obviously very caring and nurturing, and gave my fur babies (who are both geriatric and puppy, not easy!) the same love I see she must carry as a natural mother. Highly recommend!”

About: I’ve cared for pets of all ages, from playful puppies to gentle older dogs, such as my own. I tailor my approach to each animal’s needs. What sets me apart is my calm, patient energy and attention to detail—I don’t just watch pets, I get to know them. I have experience with basic training reinforcement, senior pet care (including administering oral medications), and making nervous animals feel safe and loved. Whether it’s a long walk, structured playtime, or simply keeping a routine, I care for every pet like they’re my own. As a college student home for the summer, I have a flexible and open schedule that allows me to dedicate plenty of time to pet care. With no classes or school obligations right now, I’m available for morning, afternoon, and evening visits—whatever fits your pet’s routine best. I love spending my summer surrounded by animals, and I’m fully committed to giving each pet the time and attention that they need. Safety and trust are my top priorities in every pet care situation. When caring for pets in their own home, I respect their space and routines to keep them comfortable and stress-free. I follow all owner instructions carefully—from feeding schedules to medication dosages—to ensure consistency and well-being. I always secure doors, windows, and any potential hazards to create a safe environment. As for staying in my home, I unfortunately cannot have other pets coming and staying with me, due to the amount of allergies in my household and my older dog that is living with me

About: I have 3 years of experience running my own pet and house-sitting and have taken care of many different types of our four legged friends. I’m available to house and pet sit as well as just swinging by and letting your dogs out or to feed you fur babies 24/7 I will gladly take care of your fur babies in your home however you would like and follow any direction and of course give cuddles!

About: While my last 10 years of employment have been in the schools and therapy centers, I have been caring for animals since I was about 10 years old. I grew up volunteering at dog training facilities and learning “tricks of the trade”. As a former cat owner and current dog owner, I am a firm believer that pets are a vital family member and deserve all the love and care that humans do (sometimes more). I have currently taken time off from being a full time school administrator to focus on my family. While my children are in school and activities, I am looking to spend time with animals and help others keep their pets well-taken care of while they may be away or working. I treat each pet as if they were my own, and perhaps even better than because I know the peace of mind it brings knowing they are cared for and loved. It is important to me that their emotional and physical needs are met, however best suits them and their owners.

“Brittany was AWESOME! I was so anxious leaving my dogs as I usually don’t do drop-in service but she really set my mind at ease. She was so kind and my dogs loved her and all the walks & trips to the dog park. She even kept my destructive/playful corgi from tearing apart his beloved tennis balls ? I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Thank you!!!”

“Moriah did a great job and was super patient with my nervous pup. Once he warms up, he is fine, but he gets really nervous meeting new people and Moriah really worked to win him over.”

About: I have cared for dogs my whole life. My family has 3 dogs, and for 3 years we fostered special needs dogs from the animal shelter: litters of puppies, sick dogs, pregnant dogs, and dogs with special medical needs. I volunteered as a dog walker at our animal shelter. I worked for a year at a dog boarding facility handling all aspects of dog care: feeding, medication, walks and play, cleaning. I attended puppy socialization and training classes with my own dogs. I am a college sophomore available for summer, weekend and holiday pet sitting in and near Greene County. I can be with your pets overnight from dinner time to after breakfast. I have a flexible part-time daytime job, so can return for daytime potty and visits as needed. I start by understanding your pets daily routine, medical and care needs, and your expectations. I will make a visit to introduce myself before your trip. While you are away, I will send regular updates and ask any questions.

About: I am a professional animal behaviorist an animal trainer. I've trained dogs, cats, wolves, dolphins, birds and more. I trained my first dog when I was 10 years old in 1984. I began training animals and providing pet care professionally in 1998. I have been an animal behaviorist for 5 years and hold a master's degree in clinical animal behavior. Anyone who tells you they can train your dog or fix any issues on just their walks with your pet is pulling your leg. What I can do, is care for your pet in your absence and work with you on any training and behavioral issues your pet may have. I have fairly open availability for drop ins and dog walks. I don't provide overnight care or boarding. Special arrangements can be made if you require training or behavioral assistance. I rely on the pet guardian's guidance in what routine their animals are comfortable with. I relay solely on positive reinforcement based training. I don't work with shock, pinch, prong, spray, or vibrate collars. As a professional in this field for over a decade, I highly recommend against retractable leashes for the mechanical failure and safety issues they cause. Feel free to look up images of the injuries they cause. Be warned, some are fairly graphic.

“We LOVE Ashleigh! Deuce can’t hold himself still when he sees Ashleigh come over. She’s reliable, responsible and goes above and beyond to ensure my Deuce is not just taken care of but loved on too. She treats each dog as if it were her own.
