“Absolutely amazing. Shannon was so sweet to my dog. Sent me pictures and videos of them hanging out throughout the day. I will absolutely recommend friends that visit the area to have Shannon take care of their fur babies while they explore the beautiful surrounding. I will be back and will definitely request Shannon’s services again. Thank you!’”

About: I taken care of animals, my entire life. Rescuing mostly as a kid, and adopting some purebred puppies as well as rescuing as an adult. I work well with animals who are crate, trained, or prefer to sleep in the bed with a family, uncomfortable working with pets of all ages sizes and breeds. I work as a private music teacher and determined my own schedule, so fitting in extra hours to help take care of animals is an easy adaptation. All of my pets have been free fed, and healthy. Daily walks and access to outdoors has been straightforward, and a pleasant past time for all of us toys are always available and regular training has been a great way of fostering respect, connection and intellect with my animals as well as others’.

“Pat is a patient and sensible sitter, and committed to being a caring caretaker in all ways. We felt confident in Pat's good judgement; she asks the important questions, doesn't make assumptions, and was responsive in keeping us up to date. She has the perspective and wonderful sense of humor necessary to care for a senior dog (well, any dog) and is willing to go with the flow of neurotic dog owners and our rituals around our four-legged children. She genuinely has the animal's interest at heart and I expect we'll ask her to sit again.”

About: From photographer to sales coordinator, I recently left my job at a canine only training and boarding facility to work from home. I worked with dogs and their owner's every day for six months, monitoring, discussing medication and how it is to be administered, complicated feeding instructions, understanding good health and healthy dispositions in dog's and being able to make appropriate calls if an illness or injury or change in behavior were to arise. I have had my dog Kali for 13 years, I have a three year old cat named Brady, and the a newest addition to the family is female feline Luna . Kali is a 25 pound beagle mix that loves other dogs. Brady and Luna are dog lovers as well. Kali and I frequently enjoy hiking Runyon Canyon and taking trips to Huntington Beach dog beach. I'm open to watching all dogs, big and small, old and young. I enjoy yoga, gardening, cooking and taking great portraits of your pup while staying with me :) Please feel free to call or text me if you have any questions at all. Kali, Brady, Luna and I look very forward to hearing from you.

“It’s not always easy to find someone to watch our three border collies as most people think they’re a handful, me included. Ashley rose to the challenge and not only took exceptional care of our dogs, but provided them the necessary exercise they need each day. we would not only strongly recommend her, but will use her again the next time we’re in Yosemite”
“You can tell taking care of animals is in Nelson’s blood. He came through for me and Nico on a last minute business trip and provided plenty of updates throughout the day. In addition to taking excellent care of Nico, Nelson also left the house even cleaner than I did when I left which is such a relief after coming home from a trip. Thanks again Nelson, Nico is already looking forward to hanging out with you next time!”

“Christina is simply phenomenal! Her personality is very mature, warm, loving, calm, and her (really great) communication shows great judgement and experience with animals and people. She is totally not put off by challenges, and I have a large hyperactive dog, and another with fear aggression. Both dogs took to her instantly! She has an artistic side and always sends me photos of my dogs which are much better than I can take myself. I like that she is a problem solver and also takes initiative...she just takes care of things, calming my nerves. I return to a house with happy, exercised dogs who seem like they don’t miss me at all :) additionally, Christina shows great respect for your home, and took it upon herself to clean stuff, which was so sweet, thank you Christina!! This review is long overdue. Do not hesitate with her, she is fabulous, trustworthy and very responsible. I came upon her by accident when I thought I was texting another sitter and was shocked at her immediate and friendly reply, so I took a chance on my next housesitting. Boy am I ever glad I did.”
About: I've grown up with German Shepherds, and can lift up to 80 pounds. I often house sat for friends and family. One in which had me take care of four dogs and four cats. My jobs included feeding, walking, and playing with the dogs. As they were diffrent beeds/sizes and some were seniors, they had a very strict potty and pill/medicine times, as well as different portions sizes. I do best with written instructions and am task oriented. In my care your pet will be loved and taken care of. As of right now I am free any day of the week. I am more then willing to do holidays as well as weekends. I am pretty flexible time wise, but do wish for dates to be final set. I am very mindful of pets security and basic behaviors. I will keep parents updated and alert if desired or in emergency situations. I will make sure your pet is taken care of and loved. I thank you for your consideration.
“First time having a sitter come to my home, which was necessary bc of a 10 month old puppy who is not fully potty trained and who is also mischievous. Tristynn did a fantastic job with my 2 boys. She is extremely knowledgeable and very responsible. She came for a meet and greet the day prior, and sent regular updates while she was here. I highly recommend her if you’re looking for a top notch sitter!”

“Jef is reliable and professional. I fully trust him to care for my home and animals. He house sit me for multiple weeks and took care of my cats, (difficult to manage) giant breed pup and kept our bird feeders full. He left my home clean clearly took excellent care of my dog, who requires quite a lot of exercise.”

My schedule is wide open currently! I just moved back to the central valley and have a bit of free time to burn. I'm flexible. I do not offer in my own home services. While doing a house sitting or drop-in, I always greet the animals check food and water bowls, make my way to the yard and ALWAYS check the yard before letting out animals. I will walk around the house to make sure there were no accidents or anything out of sorts really. I make sure doors are closed that need to be and always give the love that's needed.

“Zuki was a happy dog when we got home. Kinny sent us pics while we were traveling and it seems that Zuki enjoyed Kinny being with her. We highly recommend Kinny and would love to work with her again.”

About: I have always had the responsibility of caring for my own animals, but I love getting to help other people care for their pets. I love meeting new animals and have lots of experience in this area. I have been walking dogs around my neighborhood since I was about 10 years old. I loved this experience which is why I have decided to dedicate myself to this line of work so I can always be available to help an animal in need. Currently I work an evening shift at a restaurant 4 nights a week so I have the day open before 5 pm Friday through Monday and Tuesday Wednesday Thursday I am completely available. My schedule also will be opening up more soon. I have a very large area for dogs to run around and two very friendly dogs of my own. I always start by making sure the space is free of any hazards, like toxic plants or loose wires and that they have a cozy spot just for them. Building trust is key, so I take things slow, using positive reinforcement like treats and praise to create a bond. Whether it's playtime or just chilling, I'm all about keeping their routine consistent to minimize stress.

My journey as an animal enthusiast and companion spans across my life. Growing up, I've shared my home with a diverse range of animals, from playful puppies to spirited teenage dogs, and even wise senior canine citizens. This experience has not only deepened my love for animals but has also provided me with a comprehensive understanding of their needs and behaviors at every life stage. With my part-time job and flexible schedule, pet care easily fits into my routine. I make sure to stick to a regular feeding and walking schedule, and I use my free time to play and bond with my pet. Grooming and vet appointments are scheduled during my available hours, ensuring my furry friend gets the attention they need. This balanced approach helps me provide the best care for my pet while managing my work commitments. I've established a solid routine for looking after pets at clients' homes and during walks or drop-ins. Alongside ensuring they have proper food, water, exercise, and playtime, I'm careful to adhere to any specific guidelines provided by the pet owners. This can involve tasks like giving medications, sticking to their regular schedule, and creating a secure setting. I also maintain open communication with clients to foster trust and guarantee the well-being, happiness, and health of their pets.
“Susan provided excellent care for our 2 small dogs while we were away for a long weekend. She sent photos, which we really enjoyed, and went above and beyond with tasks such as dog toy repair. We will definitely use her service in the future.”
