“Alexis C. Is amazing❗️ We meet with Alexis two times before our travel. I was a bit nervous to leave Yuuki so I requested to have a meet and greet and then a short visit the day before we left. Alexis was agreeable to both meetings. She is very flexible and amazing with dogs. Our shy Yuuki excepted Alexis on the second visit. Yuuki wanted to play with her on the first visit but she couldn’t let her guard down. We were very pleased because Yuuki is slow to except new friends. Alexis is a dog whisperer. She is very quick to reply to messages. Alexis is very sweet, has a gentle disposition, and is very acomadating . After all of this we didn’t use Alexis ? because our grandson became ill and wasn’t able to take the trip, he was able to care for Yuuki. Alexis agreed to be on standby the complete week of our trip. Alexis stayed in touch and offered to come over for feedings and walks. Alexis showed such compassion. We will most definitely use Alexis for our next get away. Maria M”

About: I have cared for animals my entire life, and am skilled and comfortable with many types of animals including cats, dogs, birds, chickens, horses, and some reptiles. Friends and family members have relied on me to help with pet care, and I always treat the pets as my own! I love all animals and understand and respect schedules and routines, and aim to keep those going while you’re away. I work from home and my flexible position allows regular check-ins. If there is ever a time where I need to be away for a period of time, I will communicate that openly. I always consider safety first, and ensure that the pets’ routines are consistent. My own yard is fenced and locked. I will always follow recommendations or guidance from the owner for care.

About: I’ve had dogs since I was super little, but have dog sat since I was 12. I love taking dogs for walks or just watching them! I’m super energetic and am always down for a walk. I’m currently in college, but only have one class on Wednesdays from 5-8 pm. The other days I am completely free and my schedule is open! I am very trustworthy and reliable. I can feed the dogs on a set schedule, walk and watch any type of dog big or small!

We are sad to see them move to Arizona because now we will have to find a new sitter but we wish them the very best!”

“I was visiting Yosemite but needed a dog sitter for the day for my three pups because I knew I would be gone all day. I had booked a place in Fish Camp that would let me bring my dogs but I really shouldn’t leave them alone all day. Rover to the rescue. Pat was great! Since she comes to the location it worked better than me trying to board my dogs with someone else where I would either have to have them stay over night and/or drive at least an hour each way which is a whole other problem. Pat was super flexible seeing that I didn’t have a set time yet, and then with a change the night before as plans got more cemented with my brother, she was at the house bright and early at 7am. Being in Yosemite, service is spotty but while I was on my hike up the Upper Yosemite Falls trail I was getting up dates which was great. My dad ended up driving back to the rental early so he met up with Pat instead for her to go home. I was able to contact Pat with the last minute change and it was easy. I would definitely use her again when I’m in town with the pups. Just wished she was closer to home so that I use her services again when it’s needed. Thanks again Pat!”

About: I love interacting with animals and am always looking forward to spending time with pets. I am a bird parent and frequent dog walker so I know the importance of properly caring for an animal. I am available most weekends and weekdays in the evening for date nights, movie events or other endeavors. I can watch over the weekend or on weeknights as well. I have a lot of experience with animals from watching my coworkers’ dogs or babysitting my neighbors’ pets. I charge little for my services so you can save money and be safe in knowing that your pets are safe and will be entertained. I believe that pets and humans are equal and deserve the same amount of respect regardless of how many hands or paws you have, and I will care for any dog as it is my own. Thank you. I always schedule time for what is most important and make sure animals are properly stimulated and entertained when I am caring for them. It may not always be easy to tell whether or not your pet is happy so listening and observation is key. As a dog walker, the dog may not be in my home but I will make sure the dog is safe and protected at all times. I would treat the dog as I would myself or another human.
