About: Growing up with rescues and shelter dogs, ranging from 20-100lbs, I’ve always had a love for dogs. No matter what experience or pasts they have come from, I was always quick to form a bond with each pet my family and I have. Whether you are looking for someone to care for a senior dog needing a bit more patience and attention to medical needs, or an active and alert, playtime companion…you’ve found it with me! I have cared for family pets needing a special diet, set schedule and daily walks—to friends, coworkers and outside referrals for overnight stays or check in’s, and my favorite- walks! I believe that exercise is the best medicine and not to worry if your dog has certain triggers or lacks some leash manners. I can tailor walks to what your dog needs and enjoys. I can’t wait to meet your pup! I currently work in the office on a hybrid schedule 3x per week, so I have some flexibility during the week with times I can check in, and evenings are easy to schedule. My weekends are almost always available! In my home, I have a Pit/husky mix. However over the 8 years of being my own dog parent, I have hosted German shepards, Belgian malinois, hounds, and other pitbull mixes. I know how to administer medications and apply topical ointments if needed. I also understand if your pet(s) need certain accommodations or requests like avoiding other dogs on walks, and certain things he or she likes or doesn’t like.

“From the time we dropped off our pup, we shown that she would be in great care. Gary and Heather provided consistent updates and photos as promised. We were told that our pup would be “cared for like one of our own” and our experience proved that. They took our pup to the dog park and the dog beach. As a high energy pup, we could tell she was thoroughly engaged judging by how tired she was when she returned home.
