“I have to say this was one of the best experiences I've had! My little dog Chanel is very picky about who she likes - she definitely lets you know if she doesn't. The minute Marti came in to the house Chanel fell in love with her. I felt so relaxed and at ease leaving Chanel with Marti. While I was away I received updates and photos - I think Marti could be a photographer! :) Chanel has separation issues and sometimes when I have left her in the past, when I return she is obviously stressed out and it takes a few days to get her back to "normal". Not with Marti, she has been perfect! Marti, thank you so much of taking such good care of my little girl. I can't wait until my next trip......I know who I am going to have back!”

About: I haven’t killed my dog in 13years yet, won’t let your dog die on my watch. Call me the dog watcher😎 But on a serious note, I have been a dog-sitter for over 13 years. Always taking care of my friends & family furry friends. I am currently working part-time, so I have a flexible schedule that allows me to have time take care of your “fur-baby.” 😊 Communication between me & the pets owner is priority for me. I truly try to cherish every moment I get with a pet. Even small things like walking for an extra 5 minutes or even reminding them how good of a boy or girl they are is important for me.

About: I’ve grown up with dogs and trained puppies since I was little. I have continued living with roommates with dogs after moving away from home, and love helping out with watching and walking them. I wish I could have my own dog but my current circumstances would not be the best for it, so I treat every dog I interact with with the same love that I would give my own! :) I currently have a full time job and work Monday-Friday from 8am to 5pm. I can check on pets during my lunch break if you are located in Marathon. My weekends are usually free and I can come by or stay for most of the day. I can follow any directions you have for your pet! I know everyone is different, and every pet is different, so I am very flexible when it comes to care. One thing across the board is I will give your pets lots of love and attention :)

About: I have been a dog owner for my entire life. I have pet sat for dogs of many ages and needs. I have fostered puppies and even adopted a dog! I am currently not employed full time so I have plenty of time to hangout with your pet! Occasionally I nanny or am gone but rarely! I live in an apartment currently and have a clean space, I can also sit in your home if preferred! I have a big living room!

“I can highly recommend Kristin! She cared for my 16 year old, deaf, blind in one eye Boston Terrier. She requires 4 sets of eye drops 3 times daily, plus oral medications. Kristin was in my home for 9 days. She communicated daily by texts with photos included. About: Working from home gives me plenty of time for cuddles, walks and belly rubs. I have raised cairn terriers my whole life but love all dogs and am happy to help out anytime! I work from home and make my own schedule, happy to help out anytime. I live in a gated community with a great outdoor space that’s perfect for long walks. My two cairn terriers are my kids. They are always by my side or on my lap. We have a basket of toys and play all the time. We also have a great lanai which is perfect for the pups to get some fresh air anytime.

I have lead “pack-walks”, “yappy-hours”, and training events with the rescue. I have successfully fostered and rehabbed dozens of dogs, including aggressive, and anxiety prone dogs. Comfortable with puppies-senior dogs as well as administering medications of all types. I have also completed many group and individual training courses. I have recently started working from home with an incredibly flexible schedule which allows me to be available any time day or night. Scheduled visits as well as last minute requests are easily accommodated. I care for your pet however you want! I will ensure your current schedules, routines, and training regimens are continued in your absence. From crate training to free roaming beach dogs I am flexible and comfortable with almost any request.

About: My name is Gunnar. I’ve been a local since 2002. I’m hoping to fill some spare time and save some money by offering pet and house sitting services from key largo to key west. I am very accommodating and flexible with my hours. I do work a full time job but am completely available outside of those hours (7-3) I have grown up with many animals but mostly larger breed dogs and cats. I also assist with fostering for Marrvelous pet rescue out of Key Largo. Thanks so much for taking the time to read this and I look forward to hearing from you! I work in marathon daily from seven in the morning to three in the afternoon. I am off on weekends and can offer my help all day then. I live in a duplex but have a small fenced in yard (not suitable for runners) and I am on a canal. Please let me know if your dog needs extra supervision around water.
