“As a first-time Rover user and a nervous dog mom, I was hesitant to leave Banjo with anyone, especially since we just adopted him from a shelter. However, Jenelle completely exceeded my expectations. She was incredibly thoughtful and even suggested a meet-and-greet before the stay to make sure Banjo would be comfortable. She showed such patience and care with him, especially since he’s a shy and nervous dog. Throughout our trip, Jenelle kept us updated with regular photos and videos, which really helped ease my worries. Banjo came home happy, relaxed, and clearly had the best time with Jenelle and her own dogs. I think he was a little upset that we were taking him home because he had so much fun!! We’re so grateful for her wonderful care and will absolutely be leaving Banjo with her for all our future trips. Highly recommend!!”

“If I could give more stars I would! Chelsey and her family were great with Linus! She sent me pictures and updates daily. We had to leave town early due to bad weather and she was willing to accommodate with an early drop off! On pickup, she gave Linus a sweet little note with a bag of treats. How sweet! Linus whined when he left her house! Chelsey really went above and beyond and I felt so comfortable leaving my furry family member with her and her fam. Thanks Chelsey!”

“Khanh was amazing!! She watched our two small dogs, while one was slowly recovering from back and digestive issues. Our Frenchie was on NINE different meds, and had to be watched closely as her back side was a hot mess. Khanh took it in stride and reassured us they'd be fine. She handled all the meds, their raw meat diets, and even trimmed their nails and gave them baths. She was AMAZING at sending updates and communicating about how they were doing. Our pups can get anxious and always get sick after being at dog camps, and this was our first time trying in-home care. SO glad to have found someone to keep them comfortable and safe when we have to be away!! We will be repeat visitors for sure. THANK YOU KHANH!🥰”

She is knowledgeable with dog care and you can tell she loves dogs. Someone was always with them during their stay. It's not necessary but I think being in a new home helped them be comfortable. “Bonnie and Skylar were amazing sitters for Rainier. Skylar has the most calm energy which is perfect for dogs. Rainier really enjoyed his time at their place being accepted into their pack and I received daily updates with photos. He even gave Rainier a bath which I have a difficult time getting him to do. Was worried that Rainier wouldn't want to even go back home with me he was having so much fun.”

About: I've had dogs almost my whole life. I've taken care of puppies, seniors, and special needs dogs. I love to go on walks, so if your furry family member needs a long walk I'm your gal. I can help with training, and if your baby doesnt have good leash manners? Don't worry. I work full time on second shift, with a varied schedule. However I'm usually able to pop in somewhere before work and take care of your pets. I wouldn't be ideal as a house sitter, or a boarder, but I'll happily check in on your babies and take then on walks. I like to make sure animals have plenty of time to sniff me out and get used to me. If you're cool with me giving them a treat, I may use one to bribe them. Otherwise I let the animal come to me. I'll feed your dogs exactly the right amount of food, let them out for the right amount of time, and exercise them at however long you want. Dogs and cats deserve respect and understanding. I'm not going to change their routine in addition to being a strange person.

About: I’ve always had dogs growing up, I will treat your pet like family. I love dogs and want to help others find reliable care for their dogs. I work full time, however my hours and days are very flexible so I will have plenty of time to spoil your pets during the day, or overnight. I have a fenced in yard, I have one dog of my own who is the sweetest. I have space in my house to separate if needed for nap times, and plenty of toys and treats. They would be allowed on furniture as they would be treated like family.

I have experience caring for dogs with different personalities, including shy or nervous dogs who need extra patience to build trust. I’m attentive to details, follow routines closely, and understand how important consistency is for a pet’s comfort and well-being. Because I care for my own dogs daily, I’m comfortable recognizing changes in behavior, appetite, or energy levels and communicating concerns promptly. Pet care is already a big part of my daily routine. I also stay on top of things like cleaning up after them, maintaining their routine, and watching for any signs that something might be off. Caring for animals is something I genuinely enjoy, so fitting pet care into my day feels very natural. In my home, pets are treated like family. I maintain a consistent routine for feeding, fresh water, potty breaks, exercise, and playtime. I provide a safe, clean, and supervised environment where pets receive plenty of attention and affection throughout the day. I closely monitor their behavior, appetite, and energy levels and will follow any instructions regarding medications, dietary needs, or special care. My goal is to make pets feel comfortable, secure, and loved while they are in my care.

About: I used to volunteer at an animal shelter, and I learned how to attentively take instructions when it came to the care of an animal. I have dealt with dogs and cats that have digestive issues, as well as knowing my way around taking care of (oral) medication. I am also used to dogs or cats that need daily exercise or some that are very energetic and need a lot of attention. Before moving to New Mexico, I had two dogs, and I was always keen on keeping them safe + well taken care of, but most importantly, checking that they were always happy and healthy. And I would be honored to take care of your pet in the same manner. Because I am searching for work, all of my time is dedicated to Rover at the moment. I am available every day of the week. I have a two bedroom apartment and two cats, so I cannot board any fur babies in my home unless you are absolutely sure they are okay around cats. On the other hand, I can guarantee that I will keep an eye on any pets I take care of in a client's home, as well as provide updates based on your preference!
