One of our pitties can have door aggression, but after a meet and greet we found a way for Makayla to safely come and go while we were away. By the end of the trip, the anxious pittie was Makayla’s shadow. We got daily updates and pictures. Makayla knows how to take care of anxious pets AND their anxious pet-parents. We will absolutely be scheduling our next vacation around Makayla’s availability.”

About: I've cared for a variety of pets and livestock my entire life, including medical care. Additionally, I have spent time and am passionate about working with and training dogs. My Aussie-Collie is a high energy and intelligent guy, so I'm used to working with higher-drive dogs. Prices may be subject to discount depending on location. If you are looking for livestock care, I have a history working with horses, cows, pigs, goats, sheep, rabbits, poultry, etc. Availability on an hourly basis may change, once an appointment is requested, we can message regarding details. Tuesdays and Thursdays I am generally unavailable for Drop-Ins and Dog Walks after 1:00 pm. Wednesdays I am generally unavailable for Drop-Ins and Dog Walks after 5:00 pm. I am currently an online, asynchronous student, so my schedule is very flexible. This means that I will have plenty of time to spend caring for your pet. I have a fenced in yard, and gates through the house to ensure that spaces can be portioned off if needed. I also have experience monitoring the health of pets, livestock, and laboratory animals.

I am currently working full time during the week but I may have time after work some days. I am free on the weekends. I have a dog and am out walking him on the weekends. About: I grew up around dogs my entire life! My dad used to breed rottweiler puppies! I also have a puppy of my own so i am extremely experienced! I currently work from 7am to about 2pm. But I am available to let them out before work and then once I am out of work my full attention is on your pets! I also have weekends off and when pet sitting I stay home aside from a quick trip to get food or something I do not offer at my home services. I unfortunately have 4 dogs in my home and it is already so chaotic! But I will absolutely take care of your pet in your home and respect your home like my own!

About: I have owned two dogs and they were my responsibilities to take care of them. More recently I had a 16 year old dog that I would consider my “soul dog”. She taught me how to be prepared for every stage in a dogs life ~ from puppy, to psycho hyper dog, to well behaved, to maybe doesn’t do well with other dogs, to being needy and wanting extra love, or to her wanting her alone time. She also taught me towards the end of her life how on top of appointments I needed to be or how to trick her into taking her medicine (as that was a hassle) and to pay extra attention for signs of not feeling good. I will make sure your dog gets the love and attention it needs! I love to play with dogs and miss having a companion. If your dog likes to go to the dog park I’ll take them! I think it’s good for dogs to socialize with others, unless there are circumstances that prevent that from happening that’s understandable as well. Choose me to make sure your dog gets taken care of the right way! I currently work from home Monday-Friday 8:30-4:30. I will make sure to adjust my schedule to what your dog needs. I currently have a roommate with a dog and help her out when needed or take her dog to the dog park when I can tell she needs socialization. Due to having a dog in my house it’s not an option for me to host another dog unfortunately. I always make time to go outside. I’ll have treats to offer. Your dog will get a lot of attention with me. About: Pet Sitting Profile I’ve been around animals my entire life, and I’m always happiest when I get the chance to care for them! I’m moving back to Grand Rapids, Michigan on September 15, and I’m hoping to buy a home in the summer of 2027. In the meantime, I’ll be staying with relatives, so pet sitting and house sitting feel like a great way for us to help each other. I’ll be working fully remote, which gives me plenty of flexibility to be available and give your pets the attention and care they deserve. I currently have a 3-year-old large dog will be getting to vacation at his grandparents. Thankfully, my parents will be helping care for him. which allows me to take on pet sitting and house sitting opportunities. My experience with animals goes well beyond dogs and cats. I’ve had two saltwater aquariums with fish, corals, anemones, and more, as well as a large freshwater aquarium that I maintained for years.
