Over the years, I have helped them build confidence through daily routines, training, exercise, and plenty of love and attention. I feed them a combination of wet and dry food twice a day, take them on walks throughout the day whenever my schedule allows, and make sure they get the exercise, attention, and affection they need to stay happy and healthy. One of my dogs also experiences seasonal allergies and requires medication during certain times of the year, so I am comfortable following care instructions and administering medications when needed. Because of these experiences, I understand the responsibility that comes with caring for someone else's pet. Whether a pet is energetic and playful, shy and reserved, young or old, I strive to provide a safe, comfortable environment where they feel secure, cared for, and loved while their owners are away.

HOT WEATHER: for dog-friendly clients, i am able to provide outings to low stress trips to uncrowded, pet-friendly stores/facilities for stimulation and enrichment (including a potty break outside before and after, of course!) i am also happy to walk earlier/later in the day to avoid the heat as well! i also enjoy keeping pets company in home, whether its playing with toys, using lick mats, or just spending some time together! because i work evening and overnight shifts, i have guaranteed availability every morning and midday for your dog’s routine. whether you need a recurring daily walker or a same-day visit because you’re running late, i'm local and ready to jump in! my current job is closing in a few months, so i’ll be even more available for your schedule soon :) in public, i use a short-leash grip, stay hyper-aware of our surroundings without distractions like phones/technology of any kind (aside from photos, of course!), and avoid unknown dogs to keep your pup protected. i pride myself on being a trustworthy, punctual communicator, providing frequent photo updates so you’re always in the loop. i am very confident in my ability to kennel/leash pets & i consider myself well-versed in administering medication. i am keen when reading animal stress signals, ensuring your pet feels safe and understood under my care! as of early may, i am taking dog training certification courses to better my understanding and confidence in dog training :)

About: Hello! I have had a love for pets my whole life! Starting when I was 12 I began to check in on my neighbor's and family member's animals. I would walk them, feed them, stay the night with them, and love on them! As a recent high school graduate, I am free both weekdays and weekends for the summer and can put my full attention and energy into watching your pet! I always make sure that my animal's needs are taken care of first! I take them on nice long walks and play with them and give them as much attention as possible! I make sure to take them out every few hours depending on how big or small!

I tend to stick to the instructions provided as to keep a normal routine for your pet. For a first time visit, I will get aquatinted with your pet and offer a treat if allowed. I will send photos of your pet when I arrive and leave to offer some peace of mind. For walks, I will take your dog on a stroll around the neighborhood so they can let out some energy and use the restroom, followed by a treat after returning home. Drop-ins are similar where the pet will be taken outside for the restroom if needed and have some playtime to let out some energy. For pet sitting jobs, I tend to ask more questions about your pet to get a better understanding of their needs as well as anything else that will need taken care of such as collecting the mail, or watering plants. No matter the species, each visit will include playing, treats, and lots of pets! When entering or leaving your home, I ensure that the key is placed in the correct spot (to prevent lockouts!) after locking to keep your pet and home safe.
