About: I grew up fostering animals from the Humane Society of Harford County, caring for animals with the range of young puppies/kittens to senior dogs/cats. And, yes, I’ve “foster-failed” a few times, and have multiple cats and dogs of my own. A house isn’t a home without a fur baby. I am a middle-school teacher who currently has full availability now that summer vacation has begun. I’d love to fill my time off by caring for your four-legged friends! Fostering animals with a variety of backgrounds, training levels, capabilities, etc., has given me a lot of experience with creating a safe and happy environment.

About: Hi, my name is Jennifer and I'm new to Rover but not pet care! I have passionately been working in Animal Care, Welfare and Rescue for 10 years now, my entire adult life! I have 10 years of history working in doggy daycares with dog and cat boarding and animal shelters. I have also volunteered with dogs, cats, rats, goats, pigs, horses and more. Anywhere from fostering, TNR programs, to PetSmart adoption centers for kitties, transportations/freedom rides and on farms. I am skilled in nail trims, bathing/brushing, basic positive reinforcement training, medical/geriatric needs including handling medications, and I'm educated in dog and cat behavior. My pet sitting experience includes dogs, cats, bunnies and small animals such as rodents for the past 10 years. I have pet sat for family, personal friends and their families, and people I have randomly ended up befriending at dog parks, hiking or in the animal care jobs I've had! I love when animals and pets bring people together. I have grown up with dogs, cats, bunnies, rats, birds and even iguanas. My dream one day is to own my very own sanctuary/rescue on a farm. About: I have always had dogs growing up since I was a baby. I have been around dogs all sizes from Shih Tzu’s to Saint Bernards. I have currently a pitty who is reactived and been doing class with him. If you need someone to walk, run, watch or play with your dog(s) look no further! I currently work at a before and after school program. Was the program director, but now just work pm shifts. I’m free any time in the morning all the way up to about 1pm and will be busy until about 7 I can’t house sit at my house unfortunately at the moment with currently living situation. I have a yard for my dog to run, outdoor tent for my cats to be outside, and two birds cages for one inside and one outside.

About: I have been caring for animals since I was around 6 years old. I have cared for dogs, cats, horses, sugar gliders, farm animals, and so much more. I absolutely love any dog from the largest paws to the littlest paws. They’re a part of our family and deserve the best care they can offer. I don’t mind if it’s a little bouncy puppy or an older senior living out their last and most important days. They all deserve the best care. I have always had a lot of luck when it comes to pets who may be high anxiety around new people or who may just struggle with general shyness. I can also handle a pup or an older dog who may just not be able to potty outside. I understand that everyone’s situation is different and not every dog is the same. I accept and can handle any dietary requirements the dog may need and I can walk the dogs personally or allow them outside in a yard depending on how you prefer it. My goal is to keep your dog as comfortable as they are when they’re with you while you’re gone. I have pets of my own, so caring for them on a daily is very important! Lots of walks, time for meals, playtime, and meeting general needs! This includes food, water, medications, etc. I have lots of time for furry friends and can care for them whenever someone may need it. As a pet lover myself, ensuring a pet is happy and well taken care of is very important to me and I will meet all of their daily and weekly needs. When I’m staying at someone’s home, a pet’s care is always very important. The care all depends on the specific needs of your pet! For example, if your pup needs to be exercised at a park nearby or just walked a good while a few times a day near the house, I can absolutely do that. If they prefer to just lounge around the house and cuddle, I’m totally up for it! I can do any feeding routines along with daily exercise or training routines your pet may be used to. I can even try and start a new routine for you if you’ve been trying to start one. I always take great care of my pets making sure they have fresh water, comfortable places to lay, nice clean fur, food at the right times and amounts, plenty of potty breaks and play time, and of course, love! Breakdown- - walking your dog as needed or even bringing them to a park nearby if it is what you desire - ensuring they are safe and have access to the potty whenever they need it and checking throughout the day in case they don’t like to tell! (Keeping up with daily cleaning for litter boxes when it comes to cats) - cleaning up any messes the dog or cat may make during the stay and keeping track of anything they may eat.. shoes must really look yummy to some pups! - keeping up with a daily/weekly feeding schedule - keeping the water fresh and clean at all times so your pet never has to worry about being thirsty. - understanding the daily playtime routine and making sure your pets feel loved and have lots of fun! - keeping up with lists you may provide specific to pet’s needs. - ensuring all daily and weekly medications are given to the pet at the times they are needed or as the schedule says to do so. - anything specific needs your furry companion may need are always welcome and will be put into the routine.

About: Growing up in our house meant being around all sorts of animals. Anywhere from, dogs, cats, reptiles, small critters, and big critters. Being the oldest I often took care of my siblings pets. Which is how I became well acquainted with rearing puppies and kittens. It also lead me to have a love for small animals such as rats. I'm not easily spooked by animals. I work 8 hour shifts and am available from the mornings till 12. My work schedule is 12-8p.m If your pets are OK with that schedule I'm available for house sitting. My current days off are Wednesdays and Thursdays. I always like to introduce myself to new pets, by letting them sniff me for a bit. Most dogs and cats love being spoken to softly that usually helps with easing a pet.

About: I’ve been surrounded by animals my whole life, and right now I share my home with three dogs and a cat. I know firsthand how hard it can be to leave your pets with someone else—I’m super protective of mine because the idea of them feeling anxious or lonely while I’m away really weighs on me. That’s why, if I’m caring for your pet, I’ll treat them like they’re part of my own family. Our pets’ lives are short and precious, and I believe every moment should be filled with comfort, care, and joy. I’m available every day of the week, including weekends. Pet sitting is currently my full-time focus, so your pet will have my complete attention and care. I have a spacious, fully fenced yard and I’m home throughout the day, so your pet will never be left alone. If they stay with me, I’ll make sure they’re safe, comfortable, and well cared for. I have my own pets at home, but I’m happy to keep them separated if needed—I can easily set aside our downstairs living area just for your pet’s comfort and peace of mind.

About: I have 2 dogs of my own. I have been training them myself. I have some knowledge on reactivity. I overall just want to help other dog parents out as well. I will care for them as if they are my own ❤️ I also love adventures, so if comfortable, I would love to have fun sniffing/ playing in new areas! This summer, I will be off school so I will have more availability to do drop by visits and dog walking to best fit your schedule. I have 2 fur babies myself.
